What happened to Pringle? Really? This guy happened.
I get that. Mallory has been a revelation but Pringle we massive down the stretch last year. And not in a small way. We fought to keep him in the offseason but since the aTm game, he's been non existent. Now Lyle is taking his rushes

Cantwell was awful at guard when he got in earlier this year. They tried it and failed miserably. He is a tackle and seems to be exclusively a LT at that.
I wonder if they're doing right by Samson and keeping him at LT during his money year - even though moving him to RG/RT and putting Cantwell at LT would make us a better team?

Thought Samson had a rough game. Really think the highest upside OL has Cantwell at LT and Samson at Guard. Would love to see it unless Cantwell is really just that far off
Dude, Sampson has been our best offensive lineman this year. Get real with this cantwell at tackle nonsense! He’s not ready, dude! And well, Sampson didn’t have his best game, he will be fine.

I swear I saw Congdon in the game on multiple plays. Are these numbers correct?

Damon Wilson 25 snaps afyer the game he had vs clemson is interesting.
I think we try to limit his snaps on early downs when he'd have edge setting responsibilities. Clemson, somewhat surprisingly, gave up on the run before the game started, then we were up 2+ scores from the 2nd Q - on. FSU game was a 1-score game the entire game and they were always a threat to run the ball.

Like most, I’m not a SJ fan in regard to getting many snaps. But to be fair, our OLine wasn’t a problem last night.

They gave up only 1 sack, think 1 penalty (McCoy), converted over 50% of 3rd downs, and paved the way for well over 200 yards rushing.

I realize the expectations are high as mine are too. But being a little more fair would be welcome to read.

Let’s keep getting healthier and working hard. Knowing that we have a lot of room to improve while still accomplishing an undefeated record is cool to see.

1-0 till this Sat @ high noon v Pitt and their crybaby HC.

Why do you all think that makes us better? Putting a true freshmen who isn’t ready to protect your 4 million dollar QB is the worst decision this staff could make.

Cos he's probably more effective than our Sophmore RG who gets run over ever down?

Yes SJ sucks I just don’t think Cantwell is ready for LT unfortunately.

SJ cost Miami a TD on this play cause he can’t block .

Cogdon and Samson also whiffed. It was a really bad pass protection game by the OL

If he was ready he would play

We legitimately have one of the best o line coaches and developers in CFB but people like you still think you know better. Blows my mind.
So you truly believe that SJ is the best we have?! I don’t!! Ain’t no ******* way!! That guy is worse than a turnstile!

Cantwell needs time to develop. He has every elite trait you could want but did not play against elite competition in high school, unlike CiCi.

I agree the staff should have portalled in one or two experienced guards.

Ryan has been the best. Mccoy has been better than samson

But id imagine samson is stil currently better than cantwell
