Not readymove mccoy to LG and put in Cantwell at RT.

We just played for a national title and had one of the best (if not the best) OL in the country in doing so.I hate how slow we are to adjust. Why cant play on the field dictate your PT? You watch the film as a team and theres no accountability? I thought we were building depth? I thought we preach competition. Seems to me like someone was promised a starting job and no matter how they perform, they continue to get the nod. Frustrating.
Pickett, Cantwell, Ervin, Campbell, Wilkerson, Minaya? Nobody is worthy enough to at least challenge SJ? I don't understand how you run a multi million dollar operation, and you are so slow to make any adjustments. Low standards.
Yeah center on roller-skates was telling… I purposely watched the other top 10 OLs to see if their centers are similarly weak and ummm, the answer is no, not like that.A sled would have put up a bigger fight than RR on that play. Not advocating for SJ, but this wasn’t on him.
how many of our previous transfer centers actually make the play to seal and turn the Dt lined up inside of the guard there?.... He wasn't being asked to drive him out, it clearly looks like he's trying to get around and seal him... There is no way that had any hope of working just purely by the angles... Well maybe if the DT isn't trying to get upfield...The play was designed for Fletch to continue outside, but he was knocked off track because of RR getting his *** whooped. SJ was in perfect position to seal that LB had Fletch stayed outside like the play was intended. Obviously SJ didn’t know RR had just got put on skates and Fletch was forced inside, but the LB did. He immediately had leverage because of that and was able to undercut it and make the play.
Did SJ miss the block? Yeah, but it was a pretty tough block to make after the play was blown up in the first 2 seconds and he had no idea. Plenty of other worthy examples to rag on SJ. I just don’t think this is one. JMO.

And that’s with playing Stanford and Wake. Imagine when we get to NDIf it wasn’t for Toney and his insane ability to create immediate separation at the snap, I honestly think Mensah would be in a lot more hurt than he currently is.
Next best option up. Whoever is second behind him, put them in now and let’s deal with the growing pains. SJ is not playable. And could never be with his size. Put somebody with the right size in there and let them grow throughout the season. Let’s not wait until two losses happen before we make the change.I hate how slow we are to adjust. so you're saying enroll 100 NFL free agent OL as students and give them tickets to the game? i like the way you think boss.
I said one of them, not both of them. Then the edges are vulnerable and DEs eat mensah alive?

SJ isn’t ready and he’s playing lolCriminal.
Bain, Cici, Toney, OJ started from day 1. JJ is already taking snaps from Brown by moving Fitz to corner. When they are ready they'll play.
The only saving grace is Samson at LT. McCoy has been solid at RT. But the interior is an unmitigated disaster. Is this the worst OL of the Mario era? At the moment it's behind 2025, 2024, and 2023. Not sure it's better than 2022.
This guy is gonna get Mensah hurt. They are your 10million dollar qb’s protectors. The most important component of this entire team. ****, it could be why Fletcher is hurt. They certainly haven’t made the job our running backs easy.We just played for a national title and had one of the best (if not the best) OL in the country in doing so.
I think any rational fan expected a YoY drop off, but to go from elite line play to THIS is truly dumbfounding.
How in the world can supposed OL gurus in Mario and Mirabal think this is acceptable? The interior play (not just SJ but also Rodriguez and to a certain extent Buchanan) has been absolutely deplorable. The scariest parts? 1. We’ve played no one yet. Imagine if it still looks like this vs ND 2. We’ve wasted 3 games on the SJ experience debacle, while Cantwell and Congdon have gotten very few meaningful reps.
This is a potential season derailing problem that needs to be addressed NOW.
Shoot I'm almost 46 and was squatting 400lbs+ in eighth grade and can gain weight with quickness so.......Who would be the best option on CIS? We've got weight room guys and fat asses but a combo?

Obviously the defender was shocked as well. At how bad SJ really isSJ did show off a surprisingly effective “reverse zone” blocking technique, which is the first time I have ever seen it. He got pushed backwards and sideways so quickly that the defender took himself out of the play, creating a huge running lane for Fletcher.
Fletcher has been running over the whole team to get his yards. Inexcusable to have 3/5 of the line be in this condition. This guy is gonna get Mensah hurt.
