Not surprised. He did just field a top 5 defense. The big thing is I think he wants to add a coordinator to run the defense. Hoping we don't settle on Banda to do it.

His primary job is to put effective, fast, smart DB's and he's done that. To all fair minded people, that's not really debatable.

It would obviously be ideal that this last defensive hire be a competent DC that is a very strong recruiter. Otherwise Manny needs to remain the playcaller- something I think he said he won't (for now).
