I was pretty shocked to see this video. Hey, I get it that you've got a bunch of students to go through, so you want to keep it moving.
That said, that dude had no right to lay a finger on any of those people, much less outright manhandle them the way he did.
For what it's worth, I was actually in Gainesville this past weekend for a graduation at UF....not *that* graduation, though. At the one I saw, some of the kids showboated a little without being roughed up by some racist......but you can still tell that there is some definite blatant racism going on up there. At the graduation I attended, there was a very significant contingent of Asian grads, mostly Indian and Chinese from what I could tell. There were literally dozens of these Asian graduates called across the stage first, before you heard a single "white"-sounding name. When they got to that first "white" name, the crowd erupted in a loud cheer. I found that really obnoxious and offensive. I guess that's Gainesville for you.
