SIAP: Insight Into Richt’s Last Year At UGA

No it's not... go read the article... Richts last 8 years. And he was the CEO it falls on him period. Falls on the principal. Falls on the plant manager. Not going back and forth anymore with posters. I said what I said

Let's see he is either gonna prove us right or wrong. I just think it's funny how posters reply as if you can't disagree with their logic. Hilarious

we can disagree when the facts are in question because that's the realm of opinion, but the reality is your expressed basis for "concern" is patently false.

One of the Main reasons I wanted Butch....not only for his recruiting evaluations...but his assistants as well...
Yes, take Butch's 71-48 ( adding vacated wins 87-48) lifetime record over Richt's 164-58 record. Never understand the Butch love. Would have been a bad hire for many reasons. You would think he won 5 NCs.

nah, just know what you're talking about next time and don't play yourself.

Dude basically told a flat out lie, real easy to catch, since it’s a public record, and then acts like it doesn’t matter.

You lose the argument when the basis of your argument is a lie.

His hatred for Richt has blinded him.

Katharyn, I know exactly what I'm talking about I actually read an article not posted here. I read a blog similar to a blog like this. I don't like arguing with women, but he was dog **** after 2007. Your husband lost to 13 unranked teams from 2007 until 2015. He He was the CEO don't worry I'm sure you already knew this you're at every game.

Why are you guys acting like any of this is some new information? This was the rumor from the very beginning. None of that changes the fact that Richt was EASILY the best hire we could have made.

Everyone knows Richt didn't like the administration. They wanted him to take a backseat role. They hired Pruitt, who put alot of "his guys" in place. So yeah the meme of Richt lost control is pretty true in a way. However acting like Richt handled this poorly is retarded. All you have to look at is how Pruitt is viewed after this incident to know Richt is the one who handled it well. Bunch of former players dislike Pruitt, because HE was the one being the *****.

But there's a reason all the UGA players love Richt and didn't like Pruitt. Theres a reason Thomas Brown, his former player and RB coach told Pruitt that if he ever talked like that to Richt he'd **** him up. And theres a reason Pruitt from that point on never disrespected Richt, especially in public/in front of the team.

nah, you got caught and now you're in your feelings. I'm not a pile on kinda guy and I was happy to see several good posters correct your misconceptions, but then you doubled down on stupid in such a brazen way that I had to chime in. I know you're a little wounded right now and you're just lashing out but, it’s cool, the humiliation will pass and since I don't hold grudges I won't remind you about it later.

if the CFP was around during Richts entire tenure at UGA he would have gotten UGA in as a 3 or 4 seed 3 times. 2002, 2007, and 2012.
so you're saying he was trash from 2007 to 2015, and what I'm seeing is that he would have made 2 CFP's in that period.

But it wasn't, so He didn't.

People say this $h!t as if the route to the NC is easier with a CFP...it isn't, you basically have to win 1 or 2 more games than you had to BITD.

no it proves a point that while he never won the championship, he consistently had the best teams in cfb, and that they weren't JUST in the first few years, they were spread out throughout his time as HC of UGA.

The 1st half of His tenure at UGA maybe, but He underachieved the last half of His tenure there.

If's were fifths we would all be drunk. Nice try though. I just know facts don't lie! What about those years where he had the top team and couldn't get it done. Explain that one?

What he did or didn't do at UGA is irrelevant.

For better or for worse, hes here now.

Hes our guy.

There is absolutely no reason he can't get it done here.

As for UGA, the day will come when we play them and curb stomp their ***. Then we can enjoy putting our fingers in their faces for eternity when we do.
