That's pretty damning..Interesting read.
This part especially:
“That should have never happened,” one starter said about the incident. “Pruitt was wrong about that. That was wrong. You don’t talk to another man like that. Not your head coach.”
Pruitt later reiterated in a press conference the fall of 2015 that Richt was in charge.
“We lost some respect for Coach Richt in that moment,” a player said of the spring 2015 practice. “Right then it should have been handled.”

I really nd truly hope Richt learned from that. Its one thing to turn the other cheek but what he did that day lost him his team.
Hopefully the 305 is surely bringing that goon out of him.
I'm concerned:
Richt's last 8 years he avg 4 losses
After 2007 he beat 3 ranked teams in 8 yrs
12 losses to unranked teams his last 8yrs
I hope I'm wrong but I just believe Richt has reached his ceiling. I want him to prove me wrong.
Says the last 5 years schottenheimer and bobo . So 3 years prior still avg 4 losses a seasonDoes that coincide with him no longer calling plays?

exactly, not to mention he’s the most established coach we’ve ever had in terms of their career before getting to MiamiHe reached his ceiling at UGA and got bored for the most part.
He is nowhere near his ceiling with UM.
Almost all of our previous head coaches had their most success at the U
I have more respect for Coach Richt than just about any man I’ve been around. By no means is he “soft” like he’s portrayed in the media and he’ll rip into players if need be. But he does it in a constructive manner and is always teaching and doesn’t tear guys down.
I’m not surprised that he didn’t get into with coach Pruitt on the field because that’s not the example he wants to set, but I can bet you he MF’d Pruitt in private
nah...
Richt got deeply rooted in Athens and--for the sake of his family & assistants--let UGAs administration/boosters get involved in running the football team.
Pruitt calls a presser to chop down the administration about an IPF and the admin responds by giving the man an extension and raise; what more do you need to understand about what happened?
Pruitt had his mandate with an opportunity to flex and generally do WTF he wanted based on the circumstances of his hire and extension. MARK RICHT WAS NOT HIS BOSS and it's clear Pruitt was operating with that understanding. If you'd like to question how Richt could let the administration run the team then it's another conversation, but why--with all the understanding he had about the circumstances--should Mark Richt embarrass himself & validate Pruitt by stooping to his level after 15yrs as HC at the joint?
Pruitt should have been gone that day, but it clearly wasn't Richt's call.
Would not be a pretty sight for Pruitt, TB is a BAStill wish TB had put a couple knots on Pruitt's bald head.

No it's not... go read the article... Richts last 8 years. And he was the CEO it falls on him period. Falls on the principal. Falls on the plant manager. Not going back and forth anymore with posters. I said what I saidBobo took over in 2007. Schottenheiner was 2015. So that's more than 5...
Let's see he is either gonna prove us right or wrong. I just think it's funny how posters reply as if you can't disagree with their logic. HilariousHe reached his ceiling at UGA and got bored for the most part.

Yes, and I asked if it coincided with Richt's playcalling. Richt stopped calling plays after 2006 but go on.
But you have gone after Richt the coach many a times in the pastI'm not taking about Richt ability to actually coach. I'm talking about being in the game for 15 years and handling a situation like that so poorly.
