SIAP, Barry Jackson on Haselwood "insulting video tape"

Nothing that kid said was wrong and we deserved those comments. We were a **** show under Mark Richt...plain and simple.

We're under new management now so let's worry about the NEXT Haselwood that comes along.....by winning some games and improving the outside perception of our program. Winning has been the #1 recruiter in the nation for the last 50 years.

I would think losing to Virginia, GT, Duke, BC, and getting skull ****ed on national TV in a bowl game would be motivation enough

We, fans know it, feel it and talk about it on message boards. Players need to watch the video just to rub it in their faces lol

Amen!

**** Ive been a Canes fan for 40 years and I was planning on boycotting the Canes next season if CMR was still there. How in the world can I expect a kid with real options to make a different decision?

.

He complained about the lack of stability because Richt left. Since then Manny Diaz has made the right moves to change the culture of the team. If he really liked Miami he could have held off his commitment to see what direction the program would take. He still has two more weeks before he had to commit. What was the rush? You don't think Enos as OC, with the potential of Hurts as QB in 2019, Martell in 2020, and Jeff Thomas as the WR on his opposite side isn't a culture change or commitment to winning? Give it a rest. He decided a long time before he didn't want to go to Miami, now 90% of the board want to suck his hazelnuts because he also disrespected the program. It's embarrassing.

He is a HS kid. He has nothing to say that any intelligent grown confident man should have any interest in. Let him get an actual education, hold a job, be a father, go to a war, play 11 years in the NFL, suture a wound on an operating table, whatever the little neophyte wants. The fact that a format even exists where a sniveling Little Lord Fauntleroy can hold an audience of actual adults replete with entrance music and pseudo-edginess reflects the degeneration of an educated experiential-valuing society. Watching and considering his thoughts on anything is akin to consulting an earthworm on how to litigate a tax evasion case. He is a few years removed from learning how not to soil himself when an angry bowel movement begins to stir. But, he didn't get it wrong either to be fair.

The kid has a point and we (most) called it the same way. This program was not performing to the level that we expected it to as Hurricanes. I can't blame him for that but I think it's unfair to call out the players. They really were put in a bad position. We have the liberty to trash Richt and Co. on these boards but they can't. They have to support and play for their coaches regardless of what happens and try to do the best they can with what they have. I personally don't think those guys were complacent with losing - at all - but if you are running plays that don't work (how many threads about the predictable play calling again?!?!) and your coaches are lashing out at you in public, calling you cancers...what do you do? Flip on them like JT4 - allegedly - did??? Get the whole team dismissed for refusing to play for Richt? I just don't think it's that black and white for the players. I support those guys and they crap they had to go through under bad coaching. They are the ones out there sacrificing and getting the tar knocked out of them...not their fault.

My dos centavos - commence the flaming

wrong....he was comin'

The part about players just being happy to be there might be a little true. So many times after losses i would see players post individual highlights of something minuscule they did during the game. Seems like they didn’t care that they lost. Maybe that’s more on richts culture that he built there
Love these kids for putting that U on but I agree. I had to unfollow many of them on SM.

LOL dude spoke facts 1000000000000000 percent facts and it's clear he was sold to come here until he saw how our players didn't give a ****

I’d be curious to know which players he thinks don’t care about losing.

I’m guessing Nkosi Perry due to his social media hijinks after losses.
