Should we be on Enos HC Watch???

Isn't this partly due to the microwave era fan base that threatens boycotts of games and flying banners midway through a coach's first season?
Of course. Consumers rate stuff based on their (our) opinions. 5* is high. 1* is the lowest allowed rating. We (the consumers) are sick and tired of being 2* to 3* program when we know with right leadership we should be 4* or 5*. Not an anti-Manny post BTW.

RE: Enos being a head coach, again, will depend on how the season plays out, and if the offense continues to excel and all that. If Miami finishes 9-4, then there's a strong possibility some NON Power 5 program comes after him.

Dan getting a HC job after this season.......

I came to this thread to see if there was an inside joke. If we use the same binary rubric for Coach Enos that he uses to judge his own QBs, I think even he would acknowledge he's not succeeded this season. Nothing he can do this season will salvage that and any AD who elevates him to a HC for it is hopped up on recency bias.
in 23 states, you have to be licensed to use a rubric, either holistic or analytic.

That’s fine. We all want a great product the issue is the expectation that it should happen quickly. Meals cooked for 12 hours in a crockpot can taste good too.

Firing coaches in two years is crazy , sorry. You only have a sophomore class.
Are you saying this because WiLLLLLie (with 5 L's) deserved about 3-15 more years?
Cause I agree.
Lol but I do agree.... in college 2 1/2 to 3 years.

I hope so. We definitely need him gone. These past two games have been against defenses ranked in triple digits.

Which is idiotic , if the roster is a mess or the culture you can’t fix that in a year.
I don't disagree. I'm as fed up with our string of failed coaches as anyone and I don't want to waste time on Manny or anyone else, but it does take time to change things.

If nothing else, look at Michigan. They hired Harbaugh and he won them 10 games right away, but what has he done since then? Yeah, they've been better than us, but are they closer to a NC then us? Probably yes, they've got the talent, but for whatever reason they aren't bringing it home.

Sometimes coaches put it all together right away, and sometimes it takes a few years. We don't really know who's going to succeed and who will fail, that's just what we say after we see the result. "I knew he wouldn't do sht, he was only kinda successful at a minor program" or "I always knew he'd be great because he just needed our recruiting base" or whatever. It's always easy to see why a guy succeeds after he does it, but much trickier to figure out who will succeed before they've done it.

Ask yourself: what was Saban before bama? We thought Kirby was a clown until he took UGA to the NC game. And if he doesn't get them back and win soon we'll go back to thinking he's a clown.

There is no one way to do it, so firing your coach in the first 2 years is probably stupid. But that doesn't change the fact that schools are going to start to do it. Fans/boosters will start to say "fsu fired a coach after 20 games, why should we be more forgiving? Why should we demand less than them?"

If he goes anywhere, which I doubt unless this offense really closes out crazy hot, imo it will be to Michigan State.

They are imploding under Dantoni right now.

My MSU sauces really think Dantoni might retire after this year and the only names being thrown around right now are Narduzzi (trying to emulate the Paul Chryst model of guys doing better at "home" than they did at Pitt) and Luke Fickell.

Michigan st is the only hope i think. If they fire dantonio then enos would make perfect sense. You get a guy who can develop qbs and i dont remember when they actually had a good one. If jarren keeps balling then maybe enos can sell it. 🙏

Yall are Loling. The way he's been scoring points lately if he keeps it up til the end of the season and in the bowl game you never know. Teams get desperate.

There problem is offense so there answer is to hire another defensive coach?

They've had some mediocre to ok guys with Kirk Cousins being the best. Still, he's better than anyone we've produced since Vinny.
