Should we be on Enos HC Watch???

If you're a G5 coach & can't string together at the very least two 9/10 win seasons, then you have no business getting a P5 job. Arkansas messed up from the beginning in hiring a coach that was 14-22 in 3 seasons, what did they think they were getting? lol.

With all that being said, he is still a great Offensive coach & could no doubt an OC a number of different places, he created the foundation of that Clemson Offense & was a lot like Briles & Malzahn as guys who came straight from High School but was able to operate high octane offenses.

I don't think Enos is going anywhere, but we should still consider bringing Morris in as an analyst. Larry Fedora is an analyst right now for Texas, we could use another pair of eyes to look over this offense & add some input.

gotta imagine morris will be able to get an OC gig somewhere, but it’d be quite a coup to get him as an analyst- not just for the immediate term but he’d be an easy promotion if enos leaves after 2020.

Penos is a couple weeks removed from 200 total yards against Pitt. Last 2 weeks were great to watch. But L'ville and FSU are both 110+ in passing defense this year.

Absolutely nobody wants Enos as a HC this off season.

Maybe, but it's the new normal. I know some people want Willie's firing to be about racism, but that's just how it's going to be now. Whatever color your skin, you aren't going to get 4 years if you can't show progress in year 2 anymore.

Which is idiotic , if the roster is a mess or the culture you can’t fix that in a year.

We wouldn’t be that lucky. And even if it did happen, Manny will just replace him with another “pro style, bro” coach because apparently that’s the Miami “brand”, and being on brand is more important than scoring points.

We did that with Carl Selmer back in that day.

TBH, we probably should have fired Shannon and Golden after 2 years. If anything we should have fired Shannon after 1 year.

We should have fired Diaz after the GT game. Before he had a chance to hoodwink everybody into thinking he was turning things around.

They lost to 4 non P5 teams in less than 2 seasons and had ZERO wins vs SEC opponents. That’s far worse than Willie... imagine if Manny Diaz achieved that? Don’t think he would have even lasted that long. I understand Arkansas doesn’t have the same expectations but that is horrid

They Hired a hc with a finesse , spread offense . Replacing a power ,physical run hc. The scheme fit for the personel is planets apart. One has big , physical ol and the other needs smaller quicker ol.

That hire alone was a 3-4year rebuild , just on completely swapping out personnel.

Not sure what they were expecting, they’re either the youngest or one of the youngest teams in the country.

Isn't this partly due to the microwave era fan base that threatens boycotts of games and flying banners midway through a coach's first season?

He’s not getting hired imho he doesn’t have the numbers as OC to appease a fanbase as the new hire. There are too many options with previous success on the table.
