BOTH tight ends to fumble on two beautiful plays? Did Golden tell Ty to block the ball right TO FSU for a touchdown? Did he tell the refs to call no penalties on FSU until the middle of the 4th even though the left tackle was holding every play? And the last play they tackled our receivers down field. Did Coach ask our kicker to go down with a back for the whole year? Our kids fought hard and got bad breaks just like FSU did in the championship. Was the year won and loss unacceptable? Sure. But our kids fought hard and were a 3rd and 17 from being much better. I don't get the hate on our team and the recruits. Miami is a great place to play and go to school. A ticket doesn't buy this kind of abuse for the program. Why change a kid"s mind against going to a great school over some bad breaks ONE year? Lots of people were calling for your hero Butch's head a time or two as well.

You know, there are always bad bounces, freak turns, and other oddities that occur to teams, but they pretty much thrust upon both teams fairly equally.

We've lost two national championships over bad calls already, so we're familiar with them.

When your driver is veering toward the ditch, the sooner you get his sorry *** out of the driver's seat, the better for everyone he's taking along for the ride.

And just because a bimbo has her son getting an education playing football give her no damned right to come in to the party late and tell everyone else how they should behave.

He has what amounts to being an unmoveable contract, has a lame duck President and an AD who won't/can't fire him, his team regressed by 3 wins this year, finished with a losing record, got smashed by Pitt and UVA, lost to Florida State for the 153rd time in a row, lost another bowl game, finished last in the Coastal, has a recruiting class that is apparently falling apart, has a mutiny of his players allegedly wanting to transfer and refuses to fire anyone on his staff and still has a job as of January 5th, 2015.

You really think Butch Davis, a coach who is absolutely not going to be hired by this current administration, worries him even the least bit?

I actually want Miami good again, for the sake of our rivalry and that the ACC needs a power in the coastal.. but if this board is a reflection of the fanbase then I get where she is coming from. If you think this fanbase is characterologically different from any other then that's a reflection of your isolation from fanbases bereft of hope, confidence, and success despite historically having such things. Not that much off from the Raiders fanbase after years of awful results, who also have to deal with hilariously incompetent administrative side.
