Last year at aTm Van Dyke wasnāt even allowed to TRY to throw the ball in the red zone.This right here man. So many of us in the game thread instantly knew that was the best inside the red zone play call we've seen in YEARS. We've been like a battered housewife with the OCs around here lol, can you imagine Enos or Gattis there?

And the WRs are well coached. I wasnāt a fan of the Beard hire but two games in they look infinitely better than last season.

I was doubtful of him away from Dana and **** on him early. Very happy to eat crow. Excellent as the game went on by Dawson and TVD obviously responded

It was an impressive pass blocking performance vs the strength of their team. We'd kill for some of their 5 stars.

Last year they felt like a bad team. They seem a lot more improved as well, but still a little of the same warts as previous seasons.

1. Dawson is the real deal. Look at Houstonās offense this year without him. āDaNa WaS CaLLiNg ThE PlAyS, BrO!ā They suck balls and we look like a legit contender.
2. TVD. Elite quarterback play trumps EVERYTHING in college football. We couldnāt get the running game going tonight and it didnāt matter at all.
3. Our WR group is LEGIT. Every nerd saying we needed all kinds of portal help at WR because these guys didnāt produce under Gat-*** needs to apologize to 4,3.and 7. I honestly canāt remember the last time we had three receivers play as well in a big game as those guys did tonight. You canāt just key on one guy because all three of our dudes can make big plays.

I loved seeing us keep being aggressive and playing to win instead of playing not to lose when we were leading late in the game.

Haven't read many threads but how freakin nice was it to not see any check w/ me for the entire play clock over and over and over...
No giving the opponent defense breathers while the coordinator double and triple second guesses himself. When we had the delay of game near their goal line in the second half, Guidry told his guys to relax, no big deal and called the next play w/in seconds.
