Yes. Miami did not have any quarterback sacks, but Weigman took a lot of hits and that’s almost just as good.Weigman took a beating.
If you don't call the timeout at the end of the half they take another 30 seconds off the clock. Using the timeout is the reason you even have time to try and drive there.Who knows. Impossible for us to know but can’t have that happen after a timeout.
Also, give Dawson and TVD a lot of credit for matching us up the field with 47 seconds left with no timeouts. No reason we shouldn’t have a timeout at that point.
Shocked we didn't have any wrinkles in there with Arroyo and Skinner... especially after the early drops by George and RestrepoI’m genuinely surprised Elijah didn’t play. So yes he’s as close as you can be
Exactly. That was the best timeout he's taken at miami lolIf you don't call the timeout at the end of the half they take another 30 seconds off the clock. Using the timeout is the reason you even have time to try and drive there.
McCormick did...Didn’t Arroyo catch a first down past late in the game?
Also, A&M tackled like absolute dog****. Wanted no part of our guys. We were manhandling them all day.241 yards after the catch.
That's how you know you have well designed plays.
Pick it up and take a lap.Is this where I take a victory lap?
That play call near the goal line to George was diabolicalTons of praise all around tonight. But Mr. Dawson…absolutely **** of a game. That third and 7 bomb to ice it at the end…that takes BALLS MAN. ABSOLUTE COJONES.
Incredible playcalling. Hats off all around, but felt he deserved a ton of praise for making TVD and our WRs live up to their potential.
Also - Canes fans: we didn’t pack the Rock quite fully, but **** we were loud af. Kudos.
Now keep showing up. This feels amazing.
No and they can't block. But will be more of the O going forwardOur are tight ends healthy ?
This right here man. So many of us in the game thread instantly knew that was the best inside the red zone play call we've seen in YEARS. We've been like a battered housewife with the OCs around here lol, can you imagine Enos or Gattis there? The play design for the George TD inside the 10 off that play action was **** AF.
Brother you nailed itThis right here man. So many of us in the game thread instantly knew that was the best inside the red zone play call we've seen in YEARS. We've been like a battered housewife with the OCs around here lol, can you imagine Enos or Gattis there?![]()
Take more than oneIs this where I take a victory lap?
You been calling it since he was hired. Is this where I take a victory lap?
I was worried based on our basic offense last week and my preference for us just running our schemes but very happy with what I saw today. One step ahead of our opponentsi think that everyone who was worried about mario making dawson run a "stone age" offense can safely put that to bed. (personally i think the narrative around mario and offense has been a stupid one all along, but i digress...) we didn't actually run the ball particularly well today, so you know what we did instead? we slung the **** thing all over the field. we threw a bomb for the dagger, ffs.
We haven't had any offensive innovation here since Erickson 30+ years ago. Feels good man. This right here man.
