SEC And ACC

There's a difference between knowing it's a strong conference and being ok with the media overload, inflated pre-season ranking con game and at the end of the day a 3-4 loss team being in the top 10 bc they're in the $$ conference.

I think we got some covert butthurt Gata fans around here hanging on to their last source of delusional self worth- conference pride. These clowns repeatedly make the argument against sane individuals claiming they're overranked by pointing at the very rankings we're saying are flawed. Every freaking year they go into the season with 16 teams ALL ranked and it sets them up all so nicely to never have a "bad" loss. Lose a conference game? No worries! You won't fall more than a few spaces and the team that beat you will skyrocket (see fraudulent Mizzou last year). Skip ahead to this year. Did we ever go back and reevaluate those "quality" wins against South Carolina and A&M that were sooooo valued in establishing the "top to bottom" excellence of the conference? Did we ever admit that Arky is still junk? Did we go back and not dismiss Nike U and the entire PAC-28 (and Mich St by association) based on their one conference loss to a ranked opponent? Do we realize that the same clowns that are saying that the SEC deserves things based on past accomplishments are the same idiots that try to make a case with a straight face that FSU's schedule could keep them out of the Playoff?

Fu€k the $EC and their apologists. They're a bigger cancer around here than the worst slurp-mopers combined.

Please.

Nobody thinks teams like Arkansas or USCe are good this year. And yet, Arkansas went to TTU and pounded them and South Carolina handed ECU who everyone loves their only loss.

The SEC has a track record of winning OOC on the national stage. And you're shocked they get the benefit of the doubt preseason?

Wow awesome we've played one game against a 4-8 SEC team in 5 years. That dispels the idea that the SEC is king.

Anyone trying to dismiss the SEC as anything but the nations top conference is retarded. It's always delusional idiots throwing out pointless arguments trying to discredit what that conference has done. Their out of conference and bowl records over the last decade speak for themselves. And then this idiot Hughhoney is trying to sit here and throw out a bunch of "if" and "yea, but" statements to detract from their wins this year. They've kicked the **** out of almost everyone they've played OOC this year.

Kansas State might be the favorite in the Big 12 and the 3rd highest ranked team in the SEC walked into their house and beat them.
Georgia, and if you want to talk about turnover at Clemson UGA broke in a new QB and defensive staff, pounded Clemson, our second best team.

FSU winning a national championship by the skin of their teeth over Auburn last year does nothing to discredit the SEC, and doesn't add any legitimacy to the ACC as a whole.

Only a delusional ****** would think otherwise.

Please, explain. The only game you could really say that about was Georgia and Clemson. Otherwise the SEC hasn't proven a whole lot OOC. Kansas State. Jesus, you guys are really dumb. Auburn walked into their house and watched them beat themselves. I guess you thought LSU's defense looked real good last night when Bo Wallace underthrew his receiver by 10 yards and got picked off.

What's really funny is that as Miami fans, we know what good football looks like. Any one of these SEC teams would get mauled by our early 2000's teams. These SEC teams are not dominant, they're not that good, and it's disgusting that college football fans are sucking their ****s, and even worse when it's our own fans.

Texas Tech, the 3-5 standard bearer of who's good in college football. TCU only put up 82 points on them yesterday? How the **** is TCU even ranked, Arkansas would destroy them.

What the **** doesn no SEC team being par with our 2000-2002 teams have to do with anything?

All you've done is sit here and make excuses for every single big OOC win the SEC has had this year. Every single game it's something. Kansas State beat themselves, Wisconsin was the better team, blah blah blah.

The results speak for themselves both this year and every year since 2006.

Bama over WVU
LSU over Wisconsin
Georgia over Clemson
South Carolina over ECU
Arkansas over Texas Tech
Auburn over Kansas State
Indiana over Mizzou
OU over UT

So the best you have to point to the SEC not handling business OOC is a bottom tier UT team losing to a top Big 12 team, and a ****** Mizzou losing to a ****** Indiana.

My bad. Remember all those BCS Bowls the mightiest conference in the land won last year? Yep, those pre-season rankings were all deserved.

Just waiting for someone not committed to a mental health facility to make a case for that second $EC team to get a Playoff spot over Nike U, Mich St or even freakin' Notre Dame if they win out. I know it'll hurt to do because you buffoons were originally thinking 3 $EC teams probably should get in.

It's an example over similarly positioned, power conference teams going up against each other's

Stop using non-sequiturs to try to validated your arguments.

Because you're all over the place. What the **** does TCU have to do with this?

10-5 since 2006 in BCS bowl games, 7 out of 8 national titles. 1 year is an outlier.

It has to do with understanding what the word dominant means, and using it appropriately.

I'm not going to argue those two games anymore. If you also think that New England was better than Oakland in the tuck rule game and dominated them and were far more superior, well more power to you.

Obviously you aren't putting up scores to those games because that would severely diminish your female-like histrionic statement of they "kicked the ****" out of everyone. ECU and TT are now the standard bearers of how great the SEC is. Missouri is a ****** team, but they're also 2nd in the East but they've beaten South Carolina and have 2 more SEC wins already. Wonder how Indiana would do in the SEC?

Who's comparing the Big 12 to anyone? They suck too. TCU just destroyed TT yesterday, that's what they have to do with it. People act like Arkansas could run the table in the ACC because they beat TT. Right.

The previous season shouldn't be an "outlier" when determining the preseason rankings of the following year.

No, Arkanasa could probably run the table in the Coastal because no one could stop their run game.

And they suck.

Just not as much as the rest of the **** show division we play in.

We beat Arkansas by two tds.

Only people I see on they nuts all the time are a bunch of haters cause they can't stand they have won so much over the last several years. Us realists can actually see this.

FSU needed a come from behind victory in the last seconds with a once in a lifetime QB (he's making Bimbo look like a genius) against an Auburn team that many thought were extremely lucky to even be there. In fact, I'd say that Auburn team was by far the weakest SEC team to make a championship game during the SEC's run. That Auburn team had a ridiculous amount of luck.

Only 2 undefeated champions since that time. I really wanted to see Boise compete for a title, but ESPN didn't allow it...with their 60 minute SEC campaigns and constant devalue of anything west coast. The NCAA was knee deep in USC's ***, crippling them for the next decade.

People should have seen Utah and TCU compete for a title as well, but the child minds had already accepted they didn't exist and it wasn't real football. Yeah, LSU/Bama rematch for a title, nobody gave a shlt...and it was one of the worst title games in history.

The SEC powerfans still believed in santa clause when ESPN resurected that wasteland of a conference. Hard to shake that type of braindead shlt.

Here's two articles, published a month apart, what's the value and purpose of them?

"ACC has chance to sweep SEC rivals" 11/13

"ACC once dreamed of challenging SEC for football supremacy. What happened?" 12/13

ACC doesn't even deserve to be in the same sentence as the SEC. what a joke of a conference

Here's a sentence. The SEC had front row seats watching an ACC team hold up the national championship last year. Fair?

riding the tails of fsu much? every single one of the other ACC teams would lose to every other SEC team

not sure if serious???

top to bottom. give me one ACC team that would beat their SEC counterpart this year. i'll wait

LOL

TTU is like 3-9 on the season. A truly terrible team. ECU isn't a power 5 time, and who the **** here loves them?
