Scrimmage #3 Stats / Discussion

Really think Rosier is gonna be very good for us this year. He has great pieces around him on offense and a stout defense to back him up. He's proven so far in camp that he can be consistent and avoid turnovers. That is all we need a solid QB who can extend plays and avoid turning the ball over. Things are looking up!

don't like that completion pct vs scout team, but with Young getting a pick sounds like scout team had good players on it

I would assume that Malek Young was playing against the scout team offense and not Rosier. That completion percentage is a little worrisome, but I also don't think Rosier's strength is his ability to complete a high percentage of his throws.

Malik 18-32 for 222 and 2 TD

Not to be "that guy" but I feel like this is going to be a thorn in our side all year. (3rd down %, etc) Might be some long stretches in games of 3 and outs. At least we have the defense for it.

There was a downpour right before the scrimmage started. The fact that he didn't fumble and threw over 200 yards with no pick with a wet ball in a single half is good

Didn't realize the weather situation.. (has to account for some of it) I take back some of that.

Richt said there were some drops, 3-4 batted passes and their was a down pour as practice began. His statements didn't seem like he was concerned about that completion percentage one bit. No INT's and 2 TD's works for me.

One huge thing that isn't being discussed is that Ahmmon and Berrios were held out today. We got some fire power this year fellas. It'll be tough to stop us if Richt can keep the defenses guessing with our playmakers.
