Say what you want, we aren’t that far off from Clemson...

Yeah, just saying. Perry progressing hopefully and we meet in acccg and I think we play a lot closer than last year.

A few of us have been saying that for a few weeks.

What we need to correct ...we've been correcting and getting better.

It's a long season and as long as the staff keeps assessing and reevaluating the team and themselves, and the players keep improving, I like our chances against our schedule and beyond.

What has impressed me most is the depth that's been built. It being tested now with Q, Smith added to Richards being out.

Texas A&M looked bad yet again this week so that win is looking more and more weak by Clemson.

Agree, we're much closer than last season for sure.

From what I see only special teams are the difference. Of course their punt returner nearly lost them the game today. But I think we match up with them much better with Perry. We need to get our punting situation fixed tho.

Perry is really the difference, he plays to his potential we're going to give them one **** of a fight. I'm optimistic

Perry changes the potential of the offense for sure but the things keeping us from being a great team will take recruiting classes to fix, not just a game here and there

We are missing a dominate run blocking Oline. They put that game on the back of their Oline and they won it today.

Also we are just a little less athletic at certain spots.

But overall there is no reason that game shouldn’t be close with us having a chance to win.

Lawerence looked shook out there today before he got hurt.

I don’t think we’re that far off at all, they’re not some unbeatable juggernaut like our ‘01 team or something. In this day and age in NCAAF, anybody is gettable on any given day. It just depends on execution. HOWEVER, they do have an advantage over us in a couple key areas:

Their DL vs our OL. Need to see continued improvement on our OL because we weren’t good against LSU.

Perimeter run game. This is the area that is really frustrating sometimes. And UNC gashed is on the edges repeatedly. Need to harness some of that aggression and discipline.

But beyond that - yeah we’re right there. Here’s hoping we take care of business and get to prove it on the field.

Kelly Bryant must of been laughing his *** off today...
That kid looked scared out there today...A home game vs uhhh...Syracuse....
On a side note I saw a analyst on ESPN saying that Kelly Bryant should consider transferring to Miami

My memory is shot from years of alcohol and drug abuse but hasn't Clemson been pretty lucky in the last few seasons when it comes to lack of major injuries of key players too?

Obviously they've had better overall depth (and less players stupidly declaring early) but maybe this is the year they have to deal with some of the injury and depth headaches at a key position like QB.
