Say what you want, we aren’t that far off from Clemson...

Every team has weaknesses. Clemson is no different than any other team out there.

The million dollar question is can we take advantage of their weaknesses?
I like our chances with their QB situation but Dabo exploited our weaknesses very well last season.

We are going no where until we fix our special teams...

Punting and protection...

VT will come after our punter and kicker.... we better be ready

Now that is something that has concerned me since day one. Special teams must get better if we want to beat great teams.
I am not that concerned about the Hokies as you seem to be though. We are better in the other two phases. Especially if Jackson is out.

IMO the biggest difference in the two teams is up front, the big boys. We have not proved we line line up and go smash, and thats what it comes down to in big games, this is where Bama and UGA and Taint are ahead of the rest of CFB

So many people sleeping on Nkosi. Whens the last time we had a QB of his talent? We had a dam full back playing QB. Do you people realize the effect that has on a team?

Our o line could be a strength later in the season. If Scaffie keeps performing the way he has, he will have earned his spot starting at LT. That puts everyone where they should be. Donaldson back at G, and St. Louis at RT. Boulware has proved to be a mauler, and should be a starter imo also.

Special teams, yea were ****ed lol. Need a punter a ST coordinator. Huge handicap, but we have a lot of players that are game changers, and that will give us a chance. This game will be up for grabs. Our biggest handicap (Rosier) is gone. We have given ourselves a chance.

until we show it on the field i'll pass on this. Miami has to put the whole show together before this kinda talk

38-3 was more then just a Rosier problem. We looked like we didn't belong on the same field with Clemson on every phase and level. The Clemson's other QB that wasn't that good last year gave us a new *** hole. Our defense got it teeth kicked in.. our O-line got their teeth kicked in.. **** we wouldn't even shutdown UNC basic run game.. Perry is a better QB then Rosier IMO but he isn't a game changer.
It did look **** this last year.....lets see what happens this year. I think we lose again but lets see how much ground we gained. I feel like it will be a blowout again but theres slim hope with Perry

Boulware is the starter now. 2 games in a row.

Clemson doesn't look like they are on the same level they were last year, but there is definitely still a talent gap, especially when you get past the starters. We could beat Clemson on a good day, but they'd probably win 8 out of 10 times.

**** did it again, opps

Yes, he is. Because teams can't stack the box anymore. It's not that Perry is a transcendent talent (too early to say) but he is definitely a game changer because teams have to respect the middle of the field now. Syracuse was beating Clemson through the air. If AR82 gets back to what he was, Miami can pass all over them.

Cuse’s Offense is much more creative then ours. I don’t think we will be able to line up and out athlete Clemson. I think their DL will have a field day unfortunately.

Talent is getting better though. Need to get Scaife starting at LT, St Louis at RT and Donaldson inside

If our OL by Clemson is Scaife-Boulware-Gauthier-ND-StLouis and Perry has a really good year, then yeah, we can hang with them.

That said, we are a stud LT, stud DT, good CB and punter away from being a CFP type team imo.

if Miami isn't that far off from Clemson than they should blow out FSU this upcoming weekend...

...a mix of that and Syracuse isint getting their due.

Fact. Babers has done a solid job. Clem$on will only get better with Frenchy locks and their 3 first round DL sticking around for their degree and Google slide.

Hopefully our OL keeps barely improving along with Kosi.

[]__[] have a much better team this year and may have the best QB IF we meet Clemson down the road. Clemson will be in for some dog-fights and they're playing a 3rd string QB who was 4th on the chart last season. Things have changed a lot from last season.

With their freshman QB..i like our chances even better IF we meet them in the ACC champ game.

You want a freshman going against them dudes? You didn't see what they did to ND last year?

StLouis has struggled big time this year. Scaife is young but he is talented. And yeah, I'll take my chances with Scaife b/c we already know what StLouis can do this year at LT. He's a much better RT. I suppose you can put Scaife in at RT and leave St Louis at LT but he has to get better,
