Savor it

I was a drunk 17yr old who thought Miami was going to dominate football for the rest of my life.

Little did we know how quickly it was going to all come crashing down.

Playing in bowl games against Nevada, half back passes in the Sun bowl, blowouts to Virginia. Just a brutal last 22 years
Try the initial probation period. **** even the 29-0 to Arizona. I’ve seen some tough times I’m 49, but I was also around for the GLORY YEARS and resurgence. This rise from the ashes will be even more spectacular because we have our Howard, Jimmy, Dennis and Butch, but HE AINT LEAVIN. This is his last stop. So we will get that run we all thought or believed Howard, Jimmy and Butch would have had.

Brothers and sisters as I said earlier today WE ARE FAMILY. I don’t care if I don’t know most of y’all. You are my family. I have been ****ed at Mario so bad before but this man loves this U as much as us. He just happens to be a coach but just like you, me and Mario and so many more when you cut us, we bleed O and G. Some of us aren’t wealthy enough or fortunate enough to have won tickets to the game. To the ones that did…go and scream your lungs out, I will be cheering all of you on. The rest of us will have a helluva party watching and cheering at our homes. The future is bright. Don’t drink and drive, every one of you matter because

WE ARE FAMILY AND THEY WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND 🙌

Still just don't see how almost everyone is picking against us
For thousands of years people have struck it rich by playing on emotion and impulsivity whether it was:

--Gambling game KINO used to fund Great Wall Han Dynasty of 200 BCE.
--Gold Rushes and Snake Oil Salesmen of the 1800s,
--Investor "Fear"-of-Missing-Out of the .com bubble in the 1990s.
--Ponzi, Madoff, and Crypto Rug Pulls from 1920s to today.

Today, Hatred is what fuels our foes. Our haters are helping to increase Vegas Bookie wealth. Good! If Miami can win AND cause our opps to lose cash, sign me up!

I never attended the University of Miami, but I grew up in Broward and my Dad was a huge fan, so he made me a fan as a 10 year old kid in 1991 when I started watching football. And I was a fan during our probation years and through the good times in the early 2000’s. I fücking cried after the loss to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl. To this day, I cannot watch any highlights from that game. It took 23 years, but we are again here. At home. So as Cribby poignantly said, savor it. Savor the shït out of it. Because you never know when it’ll come again.

I've had friends i haven't talked to in years reach out over the last month. All saying congrats and Go Canes! It's been a great season. The playoff run has been awesome. Can't wait for Monday night
Same. I was fugged up after the Ohio state game. I woke up the morning to so many Happy New Year and congrats canes text.

Y'all OLD

We had the best music, the muscle car decade with the best of cars, got to the Moon, miniskirts, hotpants outfits, smoking hot airline stewardesses in really hot outfits, we could smoke anywhere, sixth graders could write in cursive, taught civics, government, geography, arithmetic by hand, greatest rock and roll bands, and life was just so much better and safer.

Wouldn't trade it for nothing.

Today, we have medical doctors in front of Congress who can't tell us what a female is, cross-dressers insist that men can have babies, politicians are all bought, crime is now acceptable, cars all look alike, courts suck, you get more jail time for crossing a solid line than committing murder, and freaks everywhere you look. College students today think Austria has lots of kangaroos, and that New Mexico is somewhere below the border.

Old? I'm doing fine. Many days behind me - but you pups can't say that - and you're not guaranteed tomorrow.

We been there, done that, and will do more.

i'm in my early sixties. i have been following the Canes since Lou Saban days when you got a Whopper and 2 tickets for $7.00 (+/-). I was also fortunate to receive a partial scholarship to play middle linebacker attend law school and I went to the U with great pride.

i watched each title game we won and each title game we lost or had stolen.

this has been a great year and i know we'll finish the job on Monday. This team will be remember for having brought U back to relevancy.

Jimmy Johnson won 2 Super Bowl titles and a National Championship as a player. But it is the National Championship that he won as a Coach at the University of Miami that made him cry on the field after the win against Ohio State.

Go Canes

Go Canes

Amen, brother!

We KNOW where we're coming from - most fans today when they reach way back in the past - go to 2001 or 2002.

No idea on what they missed out on. NONE.

I'll add this:

Even though we're uber-focused on defeating Indiana right now, if we were to lose this game, losing to Indiana (as a program) is not a bad thing. I'd much rather lose to an IU who's on a magical run than to lose the title game to an Ohio State or Alabama or Notre Dame.
I hear you, but it’s our turn to be the boogie man again. Beating #1 undefeated teams is how we started it. What better way than to do it again on Monday Night.

It’s been a **** of a season and I could get use to this! For me personally attending the ND & UF games at home was fun. Then this playoff run starting with that selection Sunday has been unreal. I said I was good after the A&M win but to see them defeat all odds and make the natty. I’m going to have to pace myself Monday

It's funny cause I was just talking to my boy today. I am 34. My first game is when we beat the **** out of Washington in the Orange Bowl, and I thought "****. Every game is like this?"

And from then it's been ****.
Wow I was at that Washington beat down when there huskie dog ****ed on our goal post. Awesome game, by the way I'll be 61 in March. I needed this resurgence!!!
