So he acted like that with the team who had the #3 overall pick and people are shocked he’s falling?! Wow must be a conspiracy against him!

There’s enough out there to show that he completely blew the pre-draft process as well as having some on field questions (as do most QBs but pairing those together is a recipe for falling). My opinion means nothing but I thought he fell in the same tier as Shough and Dart, significantly behind Ward. Milroe I’m not shocked on due to the athleticism.

I reject the notion that competing teams came together and said “this guy needs to be humbled. Let’s not draft him” when all it would do is hurt themselves individually IF he was this first round type QB. NFL teams are wrong, a lot, about QBs so maybe he does become a high level starter.

Saying teams colluded is just an excuse to absolve the pre-draft missteps Sanders and his team made.

I get it, him and his team were moving pretty dumb lol just think he is better than some of the dudes that went ahead of him but we'll see.
 
I dont hate him. I've definitely saidball year he was overated because I never thought he was as good as he was hyped up to be. He was QB3 in this draft, ESapan been saying he was QB1.

People don't like when somebody is overly hyped up and don't match it. Tim Tebow got a **** ton of hate also, and by all means he was a model citizen and teammate.

Shaduer has not been those things, throwing teammates under the bus, retiring his number, etc. Just doesn't show the NFL QB intangibles you need.

With that said, to draft Dillon Gabriel over him is ridiculous. Milroe and Shough also questionable.

Id draft him at this point no doubt. So its not a hate thing, it's a how he was built up and just never matched that thing.

I'm sure there are people who see race in everything and allow it to drive their feelings. I'm also sure that arrogance isn't an appealing trait, regardless of demographics. People love to see the arrogant knocked off their high horse, that's why reality tv is what it is.

I still think that, assuming the interview stories are true, that's the biggest factor of why he's still available.

Of course, I’m not actively rooting against him (unless he goes in division against my team lol) but plenty of examples of guys falling and being studs. NFL QB evals are a crapshoot to begin with, best not to give additional reasons for someone not take a chance on you.

Then the OBVIOUS

Cam just got TALENT so people overlook it. SHEUDER is mediocre. That’s the DIFFERENCE

If history teaches us anything, odds are it isn't Cam or Sanders but some name above we least expect.

I love Cam and want him to win 10 Super Bowls, but probabilities make that a tough bet for 1, even for a playoff win.

I also believe Travis Hunter will be an underwhelming value for #2 pick.

Agreed.

The Miami Hurricanes of the 80s and early 90s may have been the most polarizing team in sports. You and I love the swagger, but opposing fans hated it because they weren’t accustomed to it. Swagger was new. Those teams also had heart and did not tolerate losing. Those Miami teams earned it.

I think it’s different today. Swagger comes off as an entitlement not one deserved through hard work and success. Remember our bull**** turnover chain? It was a nice novelty the first year, when the Canes were winning, somewhat. Soon we saw players wanting the chain after creating a turnover yet the team is losing, sometimes badly. I was happy Mario got rid of that nonsense day one. Swagger is not a slogan on a t-shirt or a social media post.

Yes, there are racist fans but most fans happy about Sanders’ draft fall aren’t enjoying the moment because of race. The glee comes from the PR from his father, from Sheduer, and from the media hyping up what they perceive as an entitled kid.
 
NFL teams are willing to tolerate off-the-field stuff if you have talent. Tyreek HIll is a POS person, but because he's fast and can catch a football - he gets away with it.

Shedeur just doesn't have the talent or traits worth the baggage - he's Geno Smith. If Geno Smith acted off the field like Tyreek, he'd have long ago been cut.

No. This goes way beyond Corch Prime and his son. My opinion is that If you are a big enough man to say something like that and potentially hurt a young man’s career and earning potential, you should be man enough to put your name on it, so that you can be held accountable for your comments. Whether your right or wrong. The future will tell us the outcome.
 


But I digress. Those who know, know that when I post certain things, adamantly, there’s a 99.9% chance I post it b/c I heard it from direct sources. But ya’ll continue to argue amongst urselves. Nothing about Shedeur is “off field” related; the moment u realize that the NFL is ran by a certain mindset, & Shedeur represents a threat to that mindset, u’ll see the bigger picture vs. allowing personal feelings for his last name to create myopic views. I 1000% guarantee if he was a Cane or the son of a Cane, 97% of the bull **** circular reasoning in this thread wouldn’t exist.
