Sanders Tears

But I think me & u both agree, that CFB players shouldn't have unlimited power because it inevitably creates players that are selfish, entitled, & complacent. College athletics should never be about securing "a bag" or generational wealth; that's what professional sports are for.

There's a reason why the NFL is the most profitable sports league on the planet, & it has to do with not empowering players disproportionately. It is the complete opposite from the poorly run NBA which has lost 48% of it's viewership since 2012. I wish this wasn't the case, & players could have unlimited power, but the sad reality is that the majority of players are not intrinsically motivated, & are only playing for money. If players were intrinsically motivated like MJ & Kobe, then it wouldn't matter if they got paid $0 or &1 bil per yr, because their approach to the game would remain the same, & the overall product wouldn't suffer.
Colleges sure charge ticket prices like they’re trying to secure a bag and generational wealth. College coaches sure demand salaries like theyre trying to secure a bag

OK; like I said & I f’s w u, it’s best to just argue among urselves.
I still think Sanders can be successful and would’ve thought he would be off the board by now. I just do not see him being the martyr for a movement of NFL trying to make a statement. He is a victim but a victim of his father’s media attention.

That’s the last I’ll say of it because I respect your opinions because they are well reasoned, thoughtful, and logical.

We’ll let bygones be bygones. I appreciate you Relly and want to see you keep posting but I understand how this site can be…

At this point can Sanders tell teams not to draft him and then sign with team he wants as UDFA?

So they both, Coarch Prime and Shedeur sabotaged his draft. Awesome. 😂🤣😂🤣

Gotcha..somehow I missed the second paragraph.
All good. It was the uhhhhh lol part that I’m like cmon man

Just pointing out the absolute hypocrisy of these NFL guys is all where they take a moral stand but if the talent is there we know it’s a lie

The problem is the team he wants doesn't want him. He will be a QB 3 as UDFA and unlikely to get meaningful snaps in camp making it hard to make a team, especially with the media circus that surrounds him. NFL likes boring, consistent backups even if they are less talented - I mean Colt McCoy anybody...

He should try to get an equity position with the XFL, pull a Steve Young, and lean into the heel media personality thing.

Strong points.

Think of this:

If you forced the players to take a .0001% ownership stake, and all the bills and rewards that come with, as part of their NIL or pro contracts, you would see dramatically different behavior and attitude.

All the sanders fiasco has taken the spotlight off of ward as well as other players. His drop definitely isn’t because of ability. I hate the media.

Good.

I got no problem admitting when I'm wrong.

The question is, will the hate brigade do the same if he is a good QB?

I doubt it...
I will. I don’t ever have a problem admitting I’m wrong. Because I’m right enough to put my money where my mouth is.
I thought Ryan Leaf was going to be a good NFL QB. I thought Elway was an entitled prick and I was for the most part wrong.
I also called a buddy in the first game Edgerin James ever played and told him this kid is the next Eric ****erson.
Can Sanders be a successful QB in the NFL? I think there’s a chance but he’s got to learn some humility and team first attitude and be his own man and step away from his father.
