Sam Bruce......

Any once kinda think it's ironic that this attitude seems to diffusing from kids that either are/were associated with U School and/or American Heritage?

They hold miami with unrealistic expectations...... Good sign that Tarvarus McFadden defended the miami offer though.

I'm glad we have this board to balance out the expectations. That and our recruiting team defending the staff and school against the community antagonists goes along way in righting the ship.
 
Entitled f@ckin kids. **** shame. Be grateful you got another offer, don't worry about WHEN you get one. We're not to 2014 signing day and these kids complaining about getting an offer "finally" when it's over a year until they sign? Sad.

This **** starts with parenting and continues with their coaches.

Al is infALlible!!!!! It's always the kids or the handlers or someone else, yet you never seem to hear the handlers being upset with other schools. Here's a hint: If it's always you, then it might be you.
 
He's a U school kid...

And I kinda get the perception that people from there have..

Sean White, Skai, Wilson, Yeargin, the d-tackle the year before that went to LSU, ... Not say all of them were worthy of an offer(Yeargin), but we really look stupid not going after some of them...

And this is what is creating the negative perception amongst the local youth about the U...

Are the coaches not present to the situation they're creating by not offering some of these kids or by being the last to offer..?

I dont know about everyone else but Golden has been all around the United States in 1 week and going on an offering binge. He hasn't slept. if you dont respect the man for anything else. at least give him, his props for doing an **** of job for trying to finish and trying to get a jumpstart on the 2015 class

So offering guys like Bruce during their sophomore year isn't early enough?

I agree with you that the lose-lose situation offered up by that dude was stupid, and I think we should have offered McFadden earlier, but Bruce ain't got **** to talk about. We offered that kid when he was a freaking sophomore.

Chise - you ****** - are slowly working your way off many ignore lists

I'm not a recruiting analyst, but I follow enough of the jock sniffers that are to understand that there is a list of elite and excellent players that should be offered as soon as possible. If you are Miami, just offer some of these **** players and recruit their position to match your need throughout the process.

I understand the Golden does not get SFL recruiting, but where the **** are Barrow, Coley and Hurlie then?
 
We offered Bruce TWO MONTHS before FSU did. Kid wasn't even a sophomore in HS when we offered.

What the **** is he complaining about exactly? That is not early enough?
 
This is why recruiting drives me nuts. These kids expect people to suck their asses, and feel entitled. I agree with other posters, these guys just want offers to gloat on twitter, and massage their ******* egos.

That's what that amounts to. You want people to praise Al for doing the job he's getting paid $2M+ per year to do. The same job other corches at big-time programs are doing. He's not getting paid to TRY. He's getting paid to succeed.

Players with this entitlement attitude is exactly what we don't need. That is what brought this program down to what it is now.These players are about self, not team.
Our best players who brought us championships were all about sacrificing for betterment of the team. These primadonna clowns can take a hike.

These are the type of players who in the heat of a tight game will quit on you when things don't their ways. I want talent, but I also want it backed with fortitude and dedication to team. It all about the "U", not you!
