We lose our most explosive offensive players in Duke and Dorsett. We also lose Walford.

We lose our best defensive player in Perryman.

And sadly, we still have Golden and Dorito's defensive scheme to minimize our players' athletic abilities.

5-7 and no bowl will be the result. The only drama next year will be the exact timing of Golden's overdue firing.

Wake me when it's over.

It is amazing that we will be worse because next years team is more talented.

I don't see how next year's team is more talented, unless some of the incoming freshmen and the ones that redshirted are better than Duke, Dorsett, Walford, Perryman, Flowers, etc.

Player development is not exactly a staple of our current coaching staff.

Duke doesn't fumble/drop an easy catch for a pick we win that game last night. If Duke doesn't fumble against Nebraska we would have had a good chance to win that game. He also fumbled early to set the tone for the Virginia disaster. Clearly Duke is one of the all time greats at Miami and he truly is a great kid more importantly. But he didn't win us a big game all year but certainly cost us a good chance to win some. Take that into account as well as if we hold onto walton, scarlett, and williams we will be fine at rb. Losing Perryman is the toughest to replace by far.

Lol, you're about to get jumped on for saying anything negative about Duke Johnson. I'm happy he came to Miami and did some great things for us but he does need to work on his ball security in the NFL. He loses the ball a lot even when it's not a fumble. He gave us his all though and I'm proud he's a cane.

Worse than 4-7 against power 5 teams? Meh, I expect about the same, maybe 2-8/3-7.

Can't get much worse, we'd have to start losing to FAU and Bethune Cookman, which I haven't eliminated as a possibility.

I thinks Duke's problem is that he tries too hard to do it himself and loses focus on ball security at times. He knows how important he is to this team and that there might not be much help coming from other players and especially his coach.

Of course it will be worse. It will be another year under a guy not a good fit for the program, and not getting it done. 4-8.

Our schedule is garbage but we'll be lucky to make a bowl game. If Kaaya had any foresight he'd try and get a hardship waiver to go play for Jim Mora. This is a sinking ******* ship unless by some miracle (and that ain't happening) Golden is gone. Truly remarkable how everyone sees how bad this guy is except the 10 or so bozos in charge of making the decisions.

The team has quit, they don't trust these losers anymore and for obvious reasons. Recruits don't buy his **** anymore, and the fans don't. It'll be an empty stadium played by a poorly coached yet talented team losing to more sub .500 teams. And the ******s at Hecht and on the BOT will blame everyone but themselves, like they've been doing the last decade.

Agree with some points but Duke essentially beat VT by himself. Just trying to be accurate

Bethune-Cookman? I'm planning on purchasing 10000 free tickets, then reselling them to slurpers for $1*

And Golden will be gone. Five years is what this guy was going to get from the beginning.

Very fair point. And i love me some Duke dont get me wronh. But he is replacable.

We are only losing Dorsett, Duke, Perryman and Walford.

Dorsett is replaceable. We act like he was Amari Copper or Santana Moss, Wayne or Johnson type talent.

Duke is being replaced by Yearby who was a prolific runner and set all kinds of records in Dade county.

Grace will replace Perryman as the dominant LB.

Our tight ends can replace Walford.

There is no excuse as to why we should not breeze through the ACC...None.

Don't make excuses for Golden. That is the talent level he is blessed with that most coaches would dream of having. How can that many highly rates players underperform?
