So ESPN listed its top college football quarterbacks since 2000 and they listed UF's Rex Grossman (#28) ahead of Dorsey (#34)!!!! Are they mental????? Besides, Grossman went 0-2 against Dorsey, and the games weren't even close. Shouldn't that count for something???

On a positive note, they completely left out FSU's Chris Weinke, who won the Heisman in 2000. LMAO!!!

DORSEY IS THE G.O.A.T!!! GO CANES!!!

I love Dorsey, I love all he did at/for the U, but he is not the GOAT QB at the U.

Meh...Rex had a marginally better NFL career so it sounds about right. Put just about anyone behind center on those UM teams Dorsey played on and they would have had good numbers.

The Grossman v Dorsey debate shouldn't be a debate but its ESPN so you know there's an inherit bias there for certain schools from certain conferences.

Dorsey wasn’t that great, he was just surrounded by greatness. D’Eriq King on that same team wins in 2002.
He completed 65% of his passes I think for about 300 yards so King would have completed 70% for 350 yards?

2 INT hurt but so did the 3 lost fumbles. I like King but not at the expense of saying Dorsey was a liability in '02

I would never say Dorsey was ever a liability, but one spot where King would have shined, is in the NC against osu when the O-Line started to break down, his inability to scramble began to hurt him. King would have used his escapability and athleticism and made plays.

It amazes me that you guys still get ****ed off over ESPN and the gaping ******* they have developed over the love for the SEC.

Best to just get over it.

Not sure he is as accurate as Dorsey nor the game manager. So, it is also plausible we wouldn't have been in the game. Always hard to predict.

I see your point though and maybe you are correct.

Once Dorsey is a name brand NFL OC and then HC, that recognition will carry over on lists like this. Its what he needs to compete with someone with the generational staying power of a nickname like the "*** Cannon".
