Very Saban-esque personality but with a love for offense. Seems like a good fit and a good transition. Not going to rock the boat to much. Never be another Saban but he will do very well if he keeps getting QB’s to perform like Penix did

Not sure why anyone would be worried about any coach going to Bama. They have averaged like a top 2 class every year for 10+ years, multiple titles, draft picks, heisman. You name it. There is no one duplicating that. At worst it stays the same but I don’t think it will. DeBoer is going to sign 4 top 30 guys instead of 6. It’s a net win

UW is going to be in the B1G soon and they are offering him 9 million a year to stay. IMO that's a pretty cushy gig with a lot less stress.

Frankly I'm surprised Dabo has fallen so far down Bama's list. 3 years ago they'd have rioted if it had been anyone other than him. Now they will riot if it is him.
I think Bama fans would rather see Cristobal as their HC than Dabo.
