Saban calls out Miami and aTm on NIL

New evidence discovered in the "Nick Saban is a liar" case:

Good article about the unspoken racism in Sabans rant. Why is it so shocking that a top recruit would want to play for Deion or for a HBCU? Saban basically says no top recruit would choose a HBCU over Bama unless he is getting paid. Deion is a HOF former player. Some top black athletes might also prioritize attending a HBCU. It's not as if Bama is going to offer a superior educational experience to Jackson State.

All the elite black athletes go to Bama....them boys getting paid. Who tf goes there? They always got bread since Saban stepped foot on campus. It ain't about the NFL pipeline cause they had none when he got there. Dude paid his way to the top

Well, now that a writer has published an article in a major newspaper describing the inherent appeal to racism in Saban's words, maybe the *****-a$$ porsters who complained about my comments in the original Saban/NIL thread can just eat a d!ck...

Programs like that have to cheat to attract kids. People think kids go cause they put dudes in the NFL. Those kids put themselves in the NFL wherever they go.
While I typically agree with your comment, when you're on a team with superior talent across the board vs 95% of the teams you play, you put up better stats and look better than if you were at a majority of other schools, imo.

Facts but the guys they put in the NFL aren't jags like people say. Them boys do well in the NFL and are known

Chicken-and-egg nonsense. You don't get "superior talent across the board vs. 95% of the teams you play" without cheating for multiple years at the beginning of Saban's tenure.

Sure, we can all sit back and admire what Alabama is "IN 2022". But like most things in the south that are really old, it was built on a false premise...

This is all true.
Players don’t want to got to Bama but they also want to go to Bama.
If you’re an elite db right now and someone signs a class full of 5 star receivers with a team already with 5 star receivers, the choice is clear. You want to go at those dudes every day that get better.
You just spent 4 years in highs school dominating and making it look easy. You want to go test yourself. That’s why they do well.
But that domino had to be placed somehow in order to keep it going. Saban absolutely had to break the bank to get those first few classes just like Kirby did.
As was posted earlier in another thread. The sht that had to go down for Amari and the older Ridley had to be large.

The bag chasers are gonna go where the bag is. But the smart ones are gonna go where the competition is.
Every team has their version of Duke Johnson every few years. But those are few and far between.
Evan Neal’s family had a picture at hard rock with everyone wearing cane gear. But even that was easy to compete against when your team is stacked and you promise elite competition every day.
That’s the reason Miami was Miami with a small weight room full of free-weights and an old *** stadium that smelled like ****.
Young men always want to see how they measure up. That’s part of becoming a man. “Do I have what it takes”? “Can I be great”?

Then there is that constant fear that some dude is gonna ball out and take your spot.
No one on our squad has been pushing anyone that started at any position for several years until now.
Imaging being rooster and Chaney right now?
Imagine being a lineman with the staff just filling the ranks with new dudes that have experience.
Imagine being a qb and now imagine adding a dude like Rashada to that mix. Go ahead and even think about being late to anything. Go ahead and miss a meeting or a film session. The coaches acting like Santa clause now every day checking the naughty and nice list.

But again. In order to pull those kids away from sofla/SoCal/Texas/dmv to go to Alabama you must have pulled some bs.
Could you imagine trying to pull any sofla blue chip to Bama or uga in 2002? Even if that had an ipf and a kick *** facility they would straight laugh. Imagine trying to tell them “well we sell out most of our home games”
Lol.
Miami’s weight room sucks. Our is huge!! Lol again.
We have an awesome college experience. Another lol.

What Saban did was change the entire narrative of college football.
The sofla kids never gave 2 fcks about playing for 100k rednecks. But now they do?
Anyone ever see the old weight room from that era?
The old dorms?
Those schools had us beat in all that sht. But they could never beat what went on at green tree. And players from all over the country wanted to be part of it

No question whatsoever, they've been paying top dollar for best talent for years, hands down, cheating better than anyone.

I was referring to the post saying if you're good, doesn't matter where you go to school.

Oh, got it. I do believe that the school helps, but there are also plenty of success stories about guys who DON'T go to Alabama.

I'm just tired of Saban's arrogance that every "really good Division I player" (Hunter) should somehow be forced into attending a school like Alabama.
