I love Rumph's coaching ability but this is what you're going to get with ex NFL guys on the recruiting trail.
 
Yeah...he has missed on quite a few big name CB prospects in his own backyard. He needs to tighten up. Blades and Ivey are nice but he needs to start getting those elite prospects.
 
Just including the AH kids, this **** is embarrassing. When you look at all of the corners he's missed, it's pitiful.

Rumph has to go.

Just some of the talented local kids known loser Mike Rumph has had tell him to fvck his own face in two short years.

This isn't the NFL. He's a good coach but he can't recruit for ****. He's awful. Dreadful. We can find another decent DB coach on the technical side of things that recruits don't remark has "an incredibly punchable face" and "breath like kitty litter."

To miss on this many local guys -- especially on some from your own former school -- that HE coached -- is inexcusable and embarrassing. This guy is a ****ing clown. Fire him right now and hire someone, anyone else. Maybe the new DB coach can come in and undo all the upper decker's Rumph was leaving in recruit's toilets.

I'm not sure if he's asking recruit's parents to pull his finger on in-homes or is just a flat out *******, but it's obvious he's pretty weird and unlikable and he needs to get the **** outta here.

Byun-Yung Rumph can't close and is preventing us from making a leap into the elite tier of programs by driving away top talent. I mean the **** guy can't even land kids he's coached since middle school for God's sake. A KNOWN TACTIC IN RECRUITING IS TO HIRE A HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH ON YOUR STAFF TO LAND A RECRUIT(S) THAT PLAY FOR HIM. He can't even do that. This loser must have to pay for *** constantly if he's this bad of a closer in real life.

Please, fire Rumph immediately. Let him go to some other program and spend his last calls asking girls if they want to come back to his house and see his iguana collection, ****ing terrible closing nerd.

I wonder what Rumph meant when he said he refused to take no for an answer from recruits.

It ain’t just rumph, Campbell listed rumph as the only Miami coach he trusted but listed several coaches from Bama and uga. Where are the blame for the other guys(richt , Diaz and Banda)? Rumph also played an integral role in the recruitment of Silvera who said he was close with rumph as he’s known him since he was 8 years old and his family trust him. Also helped get Herbert last year and not to mention is a good on field coach. Let’s also not act like Banda only recruited all of the dbs we just signed. Rumph did as well...
 
Excellent coach, poor record as a recruiter thus far. Can we find a coach who is a better recruiter and an equally effective coach? If not, which is more needed; coaching or recruiting?

That's crap. If a kid says he trusts multiple coaches from other schools rest assured he's feeding you bull. Especially if it's a place like Alabama where the head coach would sell out his own daughter if it meant he could upgrade his third-string punter. Oh, and with the track record to prove it.
