Why the **** does he like uf so much? They have like 6 lineman on the roster for next year and they all trash.

No qb, wrs etc. That boy going to get killed at uf but if that's what he want.
 
blame the administration for failing to fire a hopeless sitting duck coach.

when you've lost the fans, that's the signal to make changes. UM dropped the ball and the fans have EVERY RIGHT to raise ****.
 
I still don't see how any situation is better for Scarlett than UM. Both FSU and UF have loaded backfields. Scarlett could come in here and get a great amount of playing time RIGHT AWAY. Both Scarlett and Walton have a great opportunity at UM. Decomitting at this point makes zero sense.

Because they have a new HC who can sell hope and excitement for the future. That's why. It's pretty simple.

These dudes ain't analyzing OL depth charts. They're opting for the better pitch.

Let's see. Go to ufayg where they just hired an offensive specialist who is pitching the Saban tree and his NC at bama, or jump on the sunken wreckage of the SS Folden at a school that has proven it doesn't give a **** about the football program.

It'll be a nearly impossible sell to recruits with great options as long as they keep Folden around.

also adding randy shannon to the coaching staff will help florida in recruiting. I think people are underestimating that.
 
This is where Ice and Coley come in. They will make sure Scarlett understands how terrible UF really is. No QB, no OL, no wr's and no RB's. Stack the box and have fun having great offensive games.

Say what you will about Golden, at least we can sell a Parade All-American QB, veteran OL coach who has a track record of placing his OL in the NFL, start alongside Yearby, and get coached by the Ice man...

Bottomline, Scarlett would be making a career suicide if he goes to UF...

Yeah. Ice can pitch all that, and McElwain will tell them he turned 3 star unheralded Greg McElroy into a NC QB and helped develop AJ McCarron into another NC QB. He can point to the work he did with nobodies at CSU.

Then, he'll tell guys like Scarlett if he did that with guys like McElroy who couldn't break a pane of glass with his weak arm and couldn't outrun a koala bear just imagine what he can do with Grier and Harris.

He already told the world he can win with his dog playing QB. I'm sure he'll have a plan in place for the highly rated QBs on Ufayg's roster.

All he he has to do is pitch the hope. And he'll have no problem doing that. Muscrap's failures with that offense are what got him fired and an offensive guru hired.

Golden can't tell much lol but he can tell him his last 4 backs he has had start are in the NFL and you can add that with our NFL pedigree of backs

All you said is correct expect even in the crappiest of years we get RBs to the NFL (be it Mike James, Lamar Miller, etc), let alone the great years. In the meantime UF has gotten Emmit Smith and Fred Taylor in the last 30. Just seems like a dumb move overall when we have the need for a bigger back with his skillset. It is what it is though.

That is just stupid. If Golden gets fired next year it will be because we won less than 7 games. This years recruiting class landing Scarlett will not impact whether Golden gets fired next year. So you are hoping we lose good players for any potential new head coach. I want us to have the most talented team possible. That way, it makes Golden look worse when we lose, and we look much more appealing than we already are to potential HC's.

I just fear that we win 8 Games and Blake James spews some BS about how much we "improved". Last year I thought for sure we were going to win 9 or more, even with Golden. With the amount of talent we had I didn't think it was possible to have a losing record. Even this upcoming year we have so much **** talent, so I won't be surprised if Golden gets lucky and wins 8 or 9 again, which of course is worst case scenario.
