Not that I disagree with you, but posters on a message board anteing up smells like a gator collective (which is illegal based on the definition previously posted).

Who else other than Ruiz has a legitimate business purpose a sign a NIL Deal?

That’s the thing about the NCAA right there. The gator has a collective, it was involved in a very public NIL disaster with Rashada involving $13.5 million and the NCAA put us on probation for steaks at Ruiz’s house with his clients, the Cavinder twins. Smh.

And a few people are in here calling him names and telling him to stfu after the players he’s brought us and the extended battle he’s about to undertake against these ******** in the NCAA.

I dont even think we really won in that either since took 2 bowl bans self imposed which mitigated some of the punishment.

didnt see anyone calling him names. hes loud lol. thats not calling him a name. its what and who he is right now. I doubt he actually sues the NCAA tbh. it's a losing battle and will drain a ton of resources (his firm isnt bigger than the big law firm the NCAA would contract this out to). truth is, they'll bury his firm (its a small firm) in paper where it'll either take up his associates time or eventually withdraw bc the amount of time and money that will go into it. on top of that, the NCAA wont do their own discovery. they'll hire the best consulting firms in the world to do it for them.

he can but he isnt dumb either. he knows how much billing will get thrown onto him that hes gotta pay up for something that won't net much. its an incredible waste of money. once you've been outside counsel, you know how the game is played w billing.

Here’s my prediction.

This man DOES NOT lose court cases. He didn’t start doing this yesterday. He will *** rape the NCAA before it’s all said and done, and I’ll enjoy every second of it.

But that's just it... Ruiz has maintained all along he's legit so he's always been willing to put it all out there... question is will the NCAA really play ball when push comes to shove?? They don't like a fight.. they just want to rule without question.... Ruiz is now forcing the fight....Not sure the NCAA really wants that as much as they seem to on the surface....

He didn't invent anything. His wealth comes from buying prospective litigation claims against insurance companies (which of course are worthless unless you eventually actually litigate them, or sell them off to someone else).

How is that a good idea? How do you demonstrate you have been financially damaged without opening up your books to support such an assertion? Or how do you demonstrate that now such and such recruit doesn’t want to talk to you because of the association without disclosing who you’re talking to in the first place?

I never discount the creativity of plaintiff lawyers lol but this truly appears ill-conceived.

There’s only one problem with that line of thinking. Even if he was totally quiet and moved just like those other schools guys. The NCAA would still try and nail us/figure out where this money was coming from. Remember when SEC schools were dropping bags for players down here like wild and the NCAA was furnishing a burner phone to a guy in prison who was trying to take us down. They actually listed a used washing machine in the dam report 😂 good times.
