Rosier in midseason form

This may be the most ridiculous thread yet...and that's sure as **** saying something.

One throw and the season is shot and Rosier at the very least should be thrown off the team and run out of town. If that incomplete pass has your panties in a bunch you seriously need to seek help from a mental professional...or here's a better idea...GROW THE 'F' UP!!!

If only the haters applied the same rigid rules to their day-to-day lives...

Newsflash: Brady missed a short pass during today's Patriots practice...shockingly he wasn't cut.

And when he does it on 3rd and 5 vs LSU we will be punting. But hey, it's only the 2nd quarter guys, no need to over react. Hahahahaha. No way a good QB misses that throw with ZERO pressure in his face.

the scariest part is berrios is gone. Not to say we dont have other talented receivers who can make diving catches but berrios saved rosier by consistently making diving catches. interested to see who consistently saves rosier now on these throws at the dirt.

If only the offensive line would have blocked better on that practice rep, he would have hit the receiver in the numbers.

In all seriousness, nobody should be surprised to see this sort of thing. Inaccurate passers don't just all of the sudden become accurate. We are still going to see our share of frustratingly inaccurate passes but it doesn't mean the offense can't be successful. There's plenty that can be done to mask these issues. I'd love for Richt to employ some of Sonny Cumbie's tactics with Rosier. TCU played with Kenny Hill as their starter last year, a player markedly similar to Malik Rosier from their height, their build, their athletic ability and their poor throwing mechanics that lead to inaccurate passes. Instead of asking Hill to complete too many of the standard route tree passes, Cumbie ran a ridiculous amount of screen passes. Bubbles, middle screens, WR screens, RB screens, motion swing passes and a ton of shovel option stuff. They ran a ton of zone read stuff and a bunch of designed QB draws. The TCU offense averaged over 33ppg and 420 ypg of offense with very little star talent at the skill positions.

Now Hill is a better pure passer than Rosier but he was still flawed in that department. He went from 61% with a 17/13 TD INT ratio in 2016 to 67% 23/8 as a senior in 2017.

Because there is only on QB on the roster, lol. If Rosier continues to throw bad passes, he will not start. End of story.

so when people make the argument that our offensive playbook is somewhat limited and are mocked...well, there you go.

No, people don't argue that the playbook is limited because of Rosier, they argue it's because of Richt. Like if somebody called better plays, Rosier and the OL would be more consistent. The problem is that people assume everything else is exactly as they believe it to be and the only reason their brilliant plan isn't being put into action is that Richt just doesn't know enough about football.
