These kids who commit as sophomores get bored being "committed" and feel like they are missing out. Happens all the time. I really hope Manny and staff figure out a way around this.

I saw this on Clemson board the other night:

"You just have to understand, you're not going to de-commit from Clemson," Mayes said. "And you don't go visit other schools while you're committed to Clemson. Coach Swinney tells you that this is a serious commitment and if you're not serious about it, then don't make a commitment.
"Coach Swinney never pressures you to commit because if you can't make that commitment, then he doesn't want it. If you can't decide, or you want to take another visit, then you simply don't commit to Clemson that day.

Trouble is our past coaches just say **** it yeah commit years away. It's dumb and no other school accepts commitments that far out like we have been doing. Manny needs to stop that ****.

These kids are gonna get their 15 ***king minutes. It’s reality recruiting. They commit then decommit Then invent reasons to commit, so they can de commit. It’s part of their “process “. WTF, it’s a precursor to the DECISION. With the different hats/jerseys, mamas, grandmas, aunts and uncles, wtf ever. It’s a shytshow. ITS CANE IN, OR CANE OUT.🙌🏿 Respect the process, but love from CANESNATION come when y’all sign up.

This is after the decommits.

For a while we had something like 12-13 and the next nearest was USC with 3 for 2021 a few weeks ago. We're the only school getting that many commits a full 2+ years out.

We lead the league in desperation commits and underwhelming success on the field. No secret why we are decommit U.

Clemson doesn't have any 2021 commit. BAMA has 1. Yes I'm using them as a barometer because they're the cream of the crop right now.

We pressure underclassmen to commit to justify some of our events. Clemson has cache now and their motto kind of works...also they pay as well so alot of "decommitts" dont happen. **** they got guys to decommit from the draft with a cash drop.

But we lead the country in decommitments, because we lead the country in pressuring for early commitments out of players 2 years out.
The most impressive ****.

Just stop even taking junior commits. All the decommitting shines a negative light and let’s kids use us. If you really want to commit, fine. Wait until senior year

Wait for Tweet from Donnell telling him to hook up, or reclassifying to 2020 so they can play together.

If you can't make that commitment, then he doesn't want it. If you can't decide, or you want to take another visit, then you simply don't commit to Miami that day.

There - fixed it. this really doesn't seem like it should be that hard. It's not turning kids away; it's telling them we want you but you have to want to be at Miami as much as we want you here. Don't take commitments as a sophomore. Make them come back as a junior. What's the downside? You'll have to recruit them harder. No different than having to re-recruit them .

Just my 2 cents.

Pull the ship. Don't need players pulling this **** all the time. Manny needs to send a message and if it makes a kid that wants a kid to be a Cane have to go elsewhere because he wants to play the game, oh well. Sooner or later they will learn.
