He doesn't know, but he follows all of this very closely, studies all the prospects, and puts in a lot of effort to try to figure out what's going on. A lot of his thinking is speculation, but so what. He doesn't know, but give him credit for his hard work. He follows and studies it a lot more than many of us do. I can tell a Paranos post, his thinking is definitely a lot of speculation, but I give him a lot of credit for what he does.

You're right about that. The coaches make their own evaluations, they're not going to be affected by what some guy like a Newdberg or Farrell or somebody else says. They don't need Nedberg or Farrell to tell them who is better suited or that they want more. The rankings are so dumb.

I think the Merrick kid has better strength, but the Dowdy kid has better fundamentals. Dowdy has great hands and feet. Merrick has great 'pop' when he hits kids. However, they both look like behemoths playing against much smaller kids on a regular basis. In the end for me I would take the local kid first. Not that it is AGs plan but IMO its what I would do. Maybe that is what Paranos was thinking... because I dont think anyone truly knows who is where on the UM board. Well, we all know Jaquan is #1 regardless of position...lol

man how many OL we taking? we lead for Milo, seem to be in a reasonable spot with Merrick (believe he's visiting for U day) and lead for this young man with Loftus about to announce with us being favourites for him as well and we already have 4 OL commits, s*its about to get interesting.

Some guys will be let go and I love it! You take commits early on but t worst they're backup plans just in case you get much better players later on. This oline will continue to impress offensive players in the future because look at the track record the last couple years I mean if I was a top rb/qb every year I would look at UM hard because of that front

I'll take both please! Now lets find some DDDDDD Linemen! I don't give a **** who's coaching, we will win a NC with the way we are recruiting lately. Coker, a very average coach won one and that team could have ran it self. Let's load up baby!
 
I'd have to say OT might be the hardest position to evaluate, these guys dwarf every D linemen they face. Might be a little easier if they were playing in an all star game or something but all 3 look great.

That certainly seems to validate the OSU speculation. Would make it difficult for me to take him if an OSU offer would immediately flip him. Seems like a good player but a bit "iffy" were he to commit to us. Not sure how you would address that concern.

If Milo, Dowdy, and Merrick end up committing, then I'd hang onto those three and Brown. Part ways with the rest.

But that's just me.
