Lmaoo naw my friend that I work with who goes to Michigan actually just hung out with him this last weekend. Tried to convince him to commit to Mich but kid said he would probably commit to Miami. Scout tell you that too?

He looks good on the move but he is behind OL Jalen Merrick on UM's recruiting board and that last 2015 OL spot is for Merrick. Now if they do accept Dowdy's commitment then Hayden Mahoney may become the odd man out in the 2015 class an could be encouraged to look at other schools.

Also with Brad Kaaya's connection to 2015 OL Bar Milo I would not rule out Milo committing to UM given Kaaya's lobbying for Milo. Milo is a straight beast plain and simple.

With all due respect, how the **** would you know who is where on their board?
 
The concern with Dowdy is he could be commited here for months but if Ohio ST offers even as late as NSD he will go there.

Rob Dowdy is ranked 44th best OT for 2015, while Jalen Merrick is ranked 34th OT nationally for the 2015 class and Merrick is a State of Miami kid ( in particular norther part of the state by Orlando so he is a definite take over a lower rated OOS kid). An Merrick's famiy are life long UM season ticket holders, which also helps in assessing his UM interest and strength of commitment if it comes.

This is most likely true. Obviously anything can happen, but an offer from Ohio St would probably yank us right out of the drivers seat

That the 34th ranked OL player who is also a florida player would be rated higher on UM's board than the 44th best OL player who is an out of state kid? How is that ridiculous?

and paranos assuming he is higher on UM's board b/c he is a higher rated player is one of the dumbest things i've read here.
