Reading the msu boards, it sounds like a cardiac issue and possibly a prolonged lack of oxygen to the brain. Purely speculation but regardless prayers for the Pirate!

If it’s that… then it sounds like he may have went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated. Prayers to Coach

****. Truly one of my favorite people in the sport. Such a breath of fresh air from the normal boring robots who make up most of the coaching staffs around the country.

What a terrible, terrible loss. Leach was the genuine article. No bull ****. No political correctness. He always said what needed to be said. Always told you what he believed whether you liked it or not.

I rarely get emotional about athletics these days but I’m feeling pretty emotional about this. The guy has been super entertaining and made college football great for the better part of the last 20 years.

He's like the best coach Miami should have had at some point but never did. Sad

Hopefully not but if it is the worst outcome at least the dude lead a pretty interesting existence for a rugby playing Mormon lawyer that never played a down of college football in his own life. Key West will have certainly lost one of its better ambassadors too.

Not what I was expecting when this thread was made. Figured, ok, he fell ill or something, will read he is fine and will take a break. I hold out hope that it is not much more dire. Far too young, yes, 61 is still too young for this sh*t here. Prayers up for the man.
