Richt's playcalling

Really? I saw wipe open guys downfield all night and Kaaya refused to throw it to them and when he did he was off target. How about that 4th down throw? Easy TD for Njoku and Kaaya throws it 3 yards behind him. Ridiculous.

please explain what is so sophisticated about unc run plays. I watch 100 games a week and every team runs most of the same plays. the shotgun inside run is a staple of all teams. we can't block and our rbs don't see the hole.

RPO with a cement shoes QB. Richt is gonna tarnish his name this year. Horrible stupid non adjusting play calling, he's trying to jam a square peg into a round hole.

And Kaaya has no business EVER stepping foot on an NFL field. He's a *****

I think the play calling was fair, if Kaaya could find and hit the open receivers. All play calling looks bad when you don't have a Oline to help. He just can't get comfortable with O-line giving defenses direct lines to the QB. I just don't see how a NFL team could turn Brad into a backup let alone a franchise QB.

We're witnessing some of the worst play calling in the history of the program.

Running into 8 and 9 man looks. There are drives and sequences when he waits until 3rd and long, after 2 failed early down runs, to THEN pass the ball. Even the then the routes being called in those plays just beg for the defense to squat on everything short cause we're often running 10 yard stops and comebacks on 3rd and 10, across the board.

Anyone in this or any other thread claiming that the O-Line, Kaaya, the weather, or the economy are to blame here don't have a ******* clue what they are talking about. Same QB as last year. Basically the same O-line....yet everything looks worse.

Richt is bordering on Pat Nix levels. This offensive scheme is an abomination.

And our run blocking is atrocious. No push what so ever

It's almost unfair to judge the run blocking. We're consistently running into 8 and 9 man fronts. The last 2 weeks our opponents have chosen to dare us to attack the middle of the field and we haven't. Richt's play calling is making it easy on opposing defenses to squat all over our **** within 15 yards of the LOS.

I can't even believe what I'm seeing to be honest. Richt's play calling has been an unmitigated disaster.

If Kaaya could complete a pass then the offense would look 10x better. There was hardly a play tonight where there wasn't 2 guys open. Kaaya just can't hit them right now and it is killing the offense. I also like when Kaaya hands it off on an RPO against 8 man fronts.

It's a domino effect. Richt's play calling is leading to unfavorable down and distances....which makes Kaaya's life even more difficult.

Anyone who ever bought into the "Kaaya is a first round talent" garbage is just a media ball sucker. He is what he is....a functional, average to above average college QB. He's definitely good enough to beat UNC and this year's version of FSU.

My biggest concern here is Richt. Good coaches do more with less....he's the opposite, personified, right now.

UNC blew us out a lot worse last year. We also played FSU tougher this year.

The team looks better than last year.

STFU *****

Square peg into round hole, is how I'd describe the way Richt is running the offense
