I think this is a great point, given that game is the one before FSU, in my view, whoever starts that Thursday night game in a few weeks will start vs the Noles that next weekend. I can't see Richt doing anything different in that regard

I know it's mainly doom and gloom around this board, and understandably so. But I think Richt is going to try out the underclassmen over the next 3 weeks and make a starting QB change. IMO the only way Rosier can keep his job is if he's throwing 70% for 4tds against these lesser teams

Yes of course. But if he does go off against let's say Toledo/FIU - not a great teams but formidale - it sort of affirms what CMR says about him being the most polished in the offense. He is careful with his words, he has never said Malik is the best or most talented, he just knows more. That's why if we can get the other QBs some game action against Toledo and FIU, we would know for sure where we stand.

Sometimes you just gotta roll the dice at some point. I will never forget when Bama played TAMU in Manziels second year and Mike Evans was toasting the Bama secondary the entire 1st quarter..you know what Saban did? He literally emptied his entire CB roster until he found someone who could cover Evans. The analysts were joking about it. He went to his 4th CB and finally found someone who stopped Evans.

That's what you have to do sometimes. Take a chance! Get out of your comfort zone! This is the time to do it! Tell Rosier/Cade/Perry/Jarron that for the next few games there will be 2 QBs who get 75% of the snaps and try to find out whos the best one. If its Rosier then so be it. But we are on a 4 game losing streak right now. We have to take a chance at some point.

(And check my record, I was a HUGE Rosier apologists all summer. Not anymore. You can let me off right here at the next stop because I'm off his bandwagon)

What Saban did there is exactly what championship coaches do, Richt is not a championship coach. Remember D Erickson did a lot of that, if a guy was getting whipped he didn't wait 2 years to do something, he even drew up plays on the sideline and they ran said play right then. Again that's what real good coaches do

One of our biggest problems is we do not have a clear #2. Most 8th graders can run this offense, If Richt really thinks Williams is the guy, throw him out there. You here zero good things about Perry.

But Richt put himself in this situation given that he gave Malik all of the 1st team reps over in the Spring and Fall camps. The other 3 QBs are going to have to get chemistry down with the WR/TEs.

Not surprised. But I want to know what those 3 other guys look like. Richt should be finding playing time for each of them over the next 3 weeks.
