Richt has 2 weeks to get Jarren Williams ready

Perry’s panic and inept play had little to do with the play calling. He was choking like a dog. To say he’s not a student of the game is being kind.

Rick sucks as a play caller and play designer. But Perry was a liability and was dying a cruel death out there.

The playbook doesnt help him at all. It's too easy to scheme against.

Benching him was the worst possible option.

No he didn’t. He was completely clueless and had no idea what to do or where to go with the ball. I understand you guys have your agendas against Rick and Rosier, but Perry was drowning hard last night.
Drowning hard on only 6 passes? Sounds like you have an agenda He didn't get the safety to move on that 1st interception. Otherwise, that pass was right on point for a big gain. His mistake was not recognizing the safety was locked in his spot.

On the 2nd interception, Perry said he was expecting the receiver to break right. IDK if Perry or the receiver made the mistake. Unlike Rosier, Perry throws with anticipation. He was throwing his receiver open which is what good next level QBs do.

I don't believe a 6 pass sample size deserves all this criticism. If anyone needs criticism, it's Richt for not adjusting his play calling early in the game with a short passing attack that got us our only touchdown late in the 4th qtr. It was too little, too late.

The season being lost is exactly why you burn his Redshirt.
The season isn't lost. We weren't going to the CFP even if we won out and beat Clemson in the ACC title game. There is not enough meat on the schedule. There are plenty of 1 loss teams with better resumes.

The only difference is that we need to win the ACC to get to a New Year's 6 Bowl whereas if we won out in the regular season, we could have lost to Clemson and still gone to a New Year's 6 Bowl.

So, really, everything is in front of us. If we could pull off a miracle and beat Clemson, that would cure all ills. Otherwise, the season will be considered meh.

rosier led us to a TD drive. what did Perry do beside throw 2 god awful INTS.

if that was rosier you would be crying how bad he is.

those 2 ints were awful.

You conveniently forget that Rosier threw a bad INT, and would have had a second if Thomas didn't turn into a defender and swat Rosier's up-for-grabs throw away from the UVA player. Rosier did not play well at all.

lmao he did put perry in and he threw 2 awful INTs that were inexcusable.....

but leave him in boys
But Rosier's INT and almost INT (that was thrown up for grabs right to the defender, but Thomas swatted it away) are excusable...especially for a RS Senior "leader?"

we still have a shot at the coastel !!!! **** you guys are braindead on here.

you want to throw away game sbecause you have a love fest for this QB for some reason still

PERRY IS INACCURATE AND CANT READ A DEFENSE. HES A BUST.

rosier gives us the best chance to win.
Did you really use the "inaccurate" criticism against Perry, and then supported Rosier? Rosier...one of the most inaccurate QBs of any FBS team?

So he tossed in a guy that already drowned.

Exactly. Rosier has already proven to have all of the problems that people were saying Perry was experiencing that game. In fact, Rosier threw a really bad interception, and would have had a second had Thomas not swatted it away from the defender. Rosier also made some poor throws as usual, showing his complete inability to lead the receiver and allow him to run with the ball after the catch. Yes, Richt should have pulled Perry, for one or two series, to let Perry settle down. But Rosier should not have stayed in the game. He did NOTHING to prove that he was playing better than Perry did.

I would love to roll with Jarren I believe this kid is the truth always have. Richt should put the kid in and let him sling it around and stop with the up the middle run game for a yard

Perry played Sand lot ball in HS. He was never taught to read Defenses, and is paying the price now. He's a gunslinger that MR doesn't like or trust. He is not a student of the game and likes to improvise. He is not a RPO quarterback, he can run but we have not seen him run the RPO, don't know if that's because he doesn't like to run it or what. RPO helped Rosier and what gets me is MR tried to force Kaaya to run it, but we have not seen it with Perry. Glad the Dolphins won yesterday, game me so hope for society

God bless you. Wish I was as optimistic as you. You really think this team has any chance of running the table, after witnessing this offense over the last 2 years?
Perry's interceptions cost us this game, his turnovers led to 10 of VA 16 points. If he protects the ball, we probably win the game. That is why he got pulled!!! He was a deer in the headlights, with no clue where to go with the ball. Neither of his throw that lead to ints had any chance of being completed. The first one, he was determined to go to Harley, even though he was double or triple covered. The 2nd, there was no receiver there and that throw almost led to a pic6. In the 1st quarter he had 2 completions, 2 incompletions and 2 pics!!!! Those are Kirby Freedman type numbers... You could argue maybe Richt should have had him re-start the 2nd half, but he was absolutely correct in pulling him when he did. The wheels were beginning to come off for Perry and would have been a bigger disaster if he would have kept going.

"In the Associated Press poll for CFB, Appalachian State is ranked higher than the University of Miami." LOL

Start Jarren the kid is the goods. Idc if he’s inexperienced he is the best all around QB. A good OC could make it work with him. **** Kaaya did it as a true fresh week one on the road

With the bye week If Richt already felt like Rosier wasn't getting done and now Perry why not put the True Freshman in. Richt needs to evaluate who he puts his trust in because all he's doing is handcuffing this team
So he can hand the ball off up the middle. Never get to throw the ball within 10 yards! Get yourself trapped in third and long multiple times and now everyone in the stadium knows you need to throw! Try to bail out of bad situations with a fly pass play! And once you ***** up because you really have no option but to try, you then get yanked out the game and blamed for not executing the play!!

Williams is not the answer under MR's play calling!!

He couldn’t even win big with an NFL Hall of Fame QB Stafford.

I’m with you on giving Jarren a shot because he clearly doesn’t trust Perry, and Rosier is awful, but I wouldn’t expect it to make a big difference even if Jarren is better.
You're one of the only ones that feel we need to make a change with the play calling or the OC!

It won't matter who he chooses.....if Richt doesn't add wrinkles to fit his personnel....offensive struggles are going to continue....its not the players its the plays and playcaller.....
