I guess your feeling yourself today, I'm simply pointing out a reason we went 7-6 and reasons we will never succeed again if we keep doin these same things. You should care about stacking talent on this canes team. The NFL reference was just put out to show I feel Grimes is talented, way to take it out of context, Grimes overrated or not would have helped this team win games last year.

Pointing out a reason why we went 7-6? Not letting Grimes in wouldn't even make the top 10 reasons list of why we went 7-6. How about we had a coach who was basically in retirement mode? Or that we had a green staff, which included a QB coach that got the job because of nepotism and our QB play sucked. How about the staff on the offensive side of the ball trying to fight players? Or maybe Richt playing musical chairs with Rosier and Perry the entire season and mismanaging the team in its entirety. Grimes would not have had a significant impact on this team considering he didn't do **** for UF. You keep mentioning that he's still recovering from his ACL. So if he went to Miami it would be miraculously 100%?

I'm fully aware that you stack talent in order to win. Grimes is not that immense talent that we missed out on.

And why does this matter when this was Richt who shunned Grimes away and not Diaz? Richt's retired. This is all moot now.
 
I just find it funny the entire time ive been on this board Vern has never brought one positive story or positive post. Everything is about sh*tting on his supposed favorite team which is Miami

yeah I don't be the OP one bit . Richt is soft and Cager would do what you said but not many of the other WR and I just doubt this.

Also Grimes is not very good.

not Grimes per say but the decision not to go after him thats why... we are competing against a stacked deck. Broward kids see Grimes ball out for Miami maybe that could get some local guys to stay home. Manny even said it himself that we need some local guys to stay so the high school kids see them ball for us. but no we wanna say no to a guy because he has attitude problems, didnt pick us the first go round and might mes up The WR room... smh Big Missed opportunity Yall can have your foolish pride I wanna win by any means necessary

On another note Sam Bruce doesnt have the credits to get into any college. He tried out for CFL but he was too young to play for the league due to their bylaws. I hope he lands on his feet I watched him in high school and is one of the more passionate players I have ever seen. Dammit mane.

This lets me know how truly blind we are to why coaches make the decision they make. Pleas e bring in JT Manny...AFter hearing this I guarantee you he wasnt as much to blame as the rumors appear to be

That's a good one. Enough stuff to **** on the man about without making nonsense up. Whole staff didnt want him for several reasons mainly they felt he was a quitter in general and just another big soft receiver. We had enough of those already.

Was watching the 87 game against Arkansas, and seeing how fast, physical, but most important, imposing we were...we had these teams chitting their pants and we let the refs know we were in the bldg!
 
I think a few more tidbits like this about the progrum may make me leave all message boards and just be a fan of the team on Saturday’s
