Even Yama Yama can't F with CanesFreak Freddie Vasquez

Yes, but mostly because Yama Yama (Jim Fleming) is now dead. He lived in Fort Myers, east of I-75, for many years until he died. He was going to run for Florida House of Representatives.

I didn’t wish death upon him. He was a leech. He’d beg for tickets, that mop he wore on his head was crawling with bugs and stench. He wanted to be Dolfan Denny so bad but he didn’t have any money so he’d put sob stories out there to try to get handouts from fans.

In his defense, he was quite broke. Honestly. I won't comment on the other things you mentioned, but the guy had no money.

He drove from the west coast Naples are for every game and you could see as he was getting old it was taking a big toll health wise .

A fire burned in him and ignited fires in others whom followed his lead

He has always had my vote. He's an alum. He was a cheerleader doing that cheer when he was a student. Decades of showing up to every game. Iron Arrow. The list goes on and on.

Jim Fleming is the #1 UM fan.

Here is where he got the Yama Yama name/song from:
