Restrepo Breakdown

Half white, half latino I think
latino is not a race. Being Cuban or Colombian or any other Latino background is not a race. What if you are from Colombia or Cuba or DR etc and are black? Are they latino or are they black?

Sorry for this, this ignorance that people spew throughout the country is aggravating as **** sometimes. Will not derail again and accept my punishment if this stirs anything up.

Anywho back X aka Wes Welker and the all world Bell who @Bubbacane10 is clearly unbiased by any close relation or racial issue whatsoever ;)

Semantically you may be correct, but how would you describe someone of "brown" skin with a Latin American heritage?

I think the point is that X has one parent that is caucasian, and one that is hispanic, pretty much everyone can get the gist of what that means

I would describe him as X, and his skillset and abilities, not by heritage. Who cares if one parent is white or latino (hispanic does not exist and is a made up bs in this country)

now as to description if one must as you stated, I would describe his heritage as mixed, anglo and latino, color of skin either brown.

The subject got brought up, that's why we're talking about it. Realistically everyone here is more concerned with his ability to play football

Also you describe him as Anglo and Latino
Half white, half latino I think
Which is pretty much exactly what I said

then the latin american heritage person would be a mulatto (black and white). many latin americans are mulatto.

Lol keep it to football

Yet somehow South Florida sends more WR's to the NFL. Go figure.

X is 5'10"-5'11"
And plays in the slot @ nearly 200lbs.
That's not common.

This fvckin' Ronnie Bell kid yall talkin' about is listed at 192lbs and he's 6'.
Restrepo is already bigger than most 5'10"-5'11" slots in the NFL.
Berrios, the guy yall compare X too, is 5'9" 190lbs on his best day.

X is a RB playing slot WR.
S. Florida don’t really put any impact WRs in the NFL…not anymore and they haven’t in years.

You Florida guys live in the past with this nonsense, because this idea of Florida putting dominant WRs in the league not true anymore. That’s mythology. That was true maybe 10-15-20-25 years ago, maybe but not anymore.

The truth is, in todays game there are a whole bunch of average WRs from S. Florida in the league right now. Not one dominant WR.

The big time impact guys in the NFL are from other states…the state of Florida don’t have a single top 25 WR in the NFL. Zero.

Here are the states with the most dominant WRs

The state of South Carolina has 4:

Deebo Samuel
Mike Williams
Deandre Hopkins
Hunter Renfrow

California has 4:

Davante Adams
Michael Pittman Jr
Brandin Cooks
Amon-Ra St. Brown

The State of Louisiana has 3:

Jamaar Chase
Devanta Smith
Justin Jefferson

State of Texas has 3

Ceedee Lamb
Jaylen Waddle
Mike Evans

Mississippi has 3:

DJ Metkalf
AJ Brown
Julio Jones

State of Florida
Zero (maaaaybe Jerry Jeudy????)

Antonio Brown
Calvin Ridley
Amari Cooper

I wanted X on defense… his type of aggressiveness and athleticism would be comparable to Jaquan Johnson and the honey Badger in a hybrid nickel role.

Antonio Brown
Calvin Ridley
Amari Cooper
Hollywood Brown
Diante Johnson must not exist either.

Dude stay spilling bs about florida wrs. Adding those 2 to your #s equal 5...thats without even adding the borderline guys like Sammy Watkins, Robby Anderson, Elijah Moore, Gabriel Davis, Jerry Jeudy, Josh Palmer types.

I hope Restrepo gets more work at PR this year. He can be good there with his quickness and IQ.

Made some mistakes early but is a more experienced player now.

Wow, it’s even worse than I thought. None of those guys are top 25 WRs in the NFL. They’re all above average (like I mentioned in my post) and digging these guys up shows just how far S. Florida WRs have fallen off.

Amari Cooper only had about 60 something catches for like 800 yards last season, and he’s on the verge of getting cut.

Antonio brown is an old man and he was drafted 12 years ago. He’s not top 25; in fact he didn’t even finish the season in the league

Calvin Ridley??? Wow. He only had 31 catches for 281 yards last season

If you want a dominant NFL WR, S. Florida isn’t the go to spot anymore. 10, 15, 25 years ago…sure. But not anymore

Neither are top 25 and the rest of the guys you named are good players to above average (like I said in my original post).

I don’t see any dynamic, game changing top 25 WRs in the NFL from S. Florida

I agree! Considering that he previously had Patke (yuck) as the ST coach and now he has multiple ST specialists/analysts (with one having 15 years of experience in the NFL), he should make huge strides as a PR. Coaching plus X's athleticism and high IQ = perfect PR for the team.
