Response from UM Admin to my attorney.

A few weeks back we sent certified letters to top officials with transcripts and a transaction history of the money, including tuition, I have personally paid the program since I attended there in 1998 to 2004.
I honestly didn’t expect a response but we got one today. I will attach the file once I get back from Minnesota but here’s the sum of points made.
* Thank you for being alumni and spending over $600K over 20 years but frankly we have people who give that amount yearly, so your dollars don’t matter.
*Since coming to the ACC we won the coastal twice in a conference that is 2nd to none ( yea it says that)
*Each coach left the football program better than when they started it
*Richt has done more for the community, players and of course the IPF so deserves to the right to work out through his contract.(admin speak but I do think they won’t make any changes until after 2020 season.
*stats such as GPA, graduation rates, scholar program achievements were given in length( which means they care about making choir boys who earn a degree more than they do about being competitive in football)
*Again pointed out that over 20 years I currently rank under the top 500 donors in that time.

So my business degree from the U helped me come to this conclusion on their reply. Basically they gave me and my money a big 🖕.
So yea, ego is crushed. I’m a no one according to the U admin. But whatever. You know where the admin stands.
Again I’ll get you photo of the reply when i return. It’s time to pay these ******* back

Congrats, you just played yourself

they were banned by the NCAA while we self imposed (same diff, but thats why we get to have that title)

Same difference? Miami never won the Coastal before 2017. In 2012, UNC won it on the field. Miami was the 2nd best team in the division.

One that charges as much as Princeton or Harvard? Seems the nit-wits are the people who pony up that much money to a school that’s ranked 53rd in the country and falling. Football is just a minor sign that something’s very wrong. The problems go much, much deeper.

What kind of investigation into a private university are you looking for?

Who do they answer to?

You're clearly an underdeveloped ****** so please appease me here.

Doubt you'll have any kind of logical response but give it a shot.

That's about the response I'd expect when someone hires an attorney because his football team sucks.

What madmen are out here just shoveling millions of dollars into a furnace every year?

Post a redacted picture of the letter or delete this.

In my own defense, UM was ranked higher when I attended and I had academic scholarships from the State of Florida lottery system...Thank you gambling addicts and Bright Futures foundation ;)

I wrote this last year and people got upset but I have no idea why people donate this kinda money to an institution that has $1B in endowment just sitting there and charges that much a year for tuition. Please spend your money on St Judes or some other organization you see fit to help people in real need.

For starters, the IRS as a tax exempt organization. Private inurement laws and misappropriation of funds. **** around with those and you get a major fine and can potentially lose your tax exempt status, which would not be ideal.

(I do not think this is actually happening, mind you, but your statement is just factually incorrect.)

Totally agree, and vouch for Saint Judes. Phenomenal organization with integrity and fiscal responsibility. If you look at their reportable stats, they allocate donated funds to their mission statement at a rate of ~90%

Contact a psychiatrist tomorrow. You need immediate help. To post the bs message reveals that you have serious issues. Get lost.

That is incorrect. Three way tie and UNC won it and they were also bowl ineligible... so GT went. UNC won the division that year (2012).

I believe you are correct. Miami only has one outright ACCCDC to put on the mantle.

Pathetic.
