thinking about it, perhaps UM is taking 4 and told reilly he needs to commit or the spot goes to next big time kid who wants in. if this is sudden and we are only taking 4, which i can imagine we wouldn't take more, then, this may make sense. can't see more than 4 w/ our last few hauls.

I have no intel on this at all, but I did hear we got two commits last week in that BBQ/practice. One was McDermott, never got the other name...

TTFWIW but I saw on his twitter that he just started following Kehoe, Carroll, and Miami Hurricanes football twitter. Sounds like we are in good shape to land him.

That's more investigative insight than we get from Pete. Thanks.

this is really a good class for linemen to come in and fight for a job early, after this year we might have one or two coming back

If he's visited so many times why has it never been reported on here?

This would round out a stud OL recruit class. Question is which one of these commits other than Linder is a potential interior Lineman?

Tackle - Flowers, Gadbois, Odugwu, McDermott, Darling, Gibbons?
C - Knighton, Linder
Guard - Gall, Isidora, Briscoe, Wells

You would hope that one of Darling or Gibbons would be able to slide inside?

Anyone not named Flowers or McDermott better get comfortable at guard.

I'm thinking Darling inside. But that may not be necessary if we pick another OL commit that is a true interior OL.

Don't forget, Jacoby Briscoe has moved to guard also.

I can't imagine any team having a better group of young tackles than that, even Alabama. Flowers, McD, Darling, and Gibbons (if he indeed comes) are all legit studs, with Odogwu and Gadbois both having prototype OT builds and lots of time left to develop. That is what an A+ position group looks like.

Darling is the guard, Gibbons is too small
