Last night Ballers went straight after Ohio State and its boosters and the NCAA. The fictional director of Ohio St. football operations says" Urban is sorry he missed you but he is out shaking the trees for talent" The Ohio St Boosters have the Rocks character locked up so they can "have a talk with him".
so involves USC in the previous episodes.

How the **** are they not being sued? Lol this is insane
 
They went after the NFL last couple of years (NFL was not pleased) i guess they decided to change up this year. But it was quite clear who they were going after and the tOSU guys even take a shot at Miami.

"i forget you Miami boys like your Bling" as the Rock is headed out the office.

Difference is the NFL went at ESPNs head way back when "Playmakers" was on

He's masking names, but other than that shows how these violations happen and are covered up. It's all out there for anyone in law enforcement to see. Just follow the money.

He did not mask names at all in the last episode. Am in shock that Ohio State permitted the last episode..... They even mentioned Urban's name and an Ohio State booster put him in jail.....

He said it was easy to attack the basketball schools because only Kentucky truly cared. Texas' foundations (and Okie State) have incredible pull that prevents a "crackdown" on any foundation. Let alone the entire Southern United States......... Miami is on its own. (FSU has a foundation, but he was unsure about the Gators.) He knew about the Foundations, though.

But is it really just about money, though??

Was talking to friend who works as a ref for the Trinity league out here in Cali (2nd toughest league in the U.S per Max Prep). He deals w a lot of high ranking players.

Long story short, he said just hearing from coaches and over hearing kids’ conversations, he feel kids commit to schools based upon prestige, coaching, and best chance to get paid in the league.

He said perks will always be there, but kids and family think about who’s going to get their babies to the NBA or NFL the best.

I tend to agree. We’ve never been able compete w bags, but we kept getting blue chips b/c of what we were doing in developing guys at the next level.

What resources are being wasted? The kid lives 20 minutes away from campus and drives there himself. You wanna cry about resources being wasted, let's talk Michael Johnson Jr. Nothing wrong at all with what the staff is doing with Stevenson.

Our donors would not permit it. The better the school, the more educated the Board and the greater apathy towards Athletics. They want biotech hubs (which UM now has) a top-50 law school and state of the art engineering and computer science facilities, not a Foundation.
