I hate attention seekers and Bryant is definitely one

True. But most of these top kids are. This is the most attention and excitement they have had in their lives. Many end up like the Beverly Hillbillies. They arent used to, or prepared for all this attention, and they dont have the proper family support to deal with it, so they go off the deep end and take it too far. They dont realize that its all fleeting, and that once they sign and start school, they will be nobodies again and no one will give a f*ck who they are until they prove something on the field.

In many ways, the "internet recruiting" phenomenon has really turned these kids lives into a circus, and all for nothing, as it makes them feel they are celebrities for 15 minutes, then its all promptly taken away.

I dont mind a kid having a little fun and taking his visits. But they do need to cut the cr#p at some point and get serious. They also need to live up to their commitments. If you commit to a school, then live up to your word. Dont play games and jerk schools and coaches around. If you arent sure, then take your visits and take your time. But stop being such an attention wh9re that you are wasting people's valuable time.

As usual, well stated.

On the flipside you've got douchey coaches like Urb and Saban that treat these kids like 10th and Main Street hookers...usin em up and throwing them in the trash when they have nothing left to offer up. I think that the much older and more "mature" coaches need to cut the **** first, set an example for these kids to follow, and then just maybe (doubtful though) the kids will straighten the **** up. We all know this wont happen though...at least until some heat gets thrown the way of Saban, Urb, Kiffin, etc instead of the media glorifying them and covering up their a$$hattery. However, nothing will change and we will all keep watching in record numbers!!

As I said one time, some of these kids are in for a very rude awakening if/when they hit the real world, aren't playing football anymore and have to work a typical job.

The world don't give a **** about you. It's coming for some of them like a freight train.

You think we have a chance at Tim Williams? I heard he's leaning to Tim Williams because they are going to offer his friend. If Tim Williams wants to waste a scholarship on Tim Williams' friend, that's fine, but we shouldn't bother. Either Tim Williams comes alone, or he can go rot at Tim Williams.

hahahahah, great comment
