Yup. Was a 4 star OLB- smaller/different build than big bro. Currently on Oregon’s roster as well- true frosh I believe.

I'm excited to see a true Miami Hurricanes LB room again...its been disgraceful some of the dudes that have been playing LB for them the last few years

I mean he is.... He would be a fine ST player and as a backup but I do not get all the hate. Kid seems like a good kid, not his fault Miami recruited and starts him, what he gonna tell the coach? No He not going in the game? He also led the team in tackles this year. Yes a god awful defense but he gets too much hate.

Say what you want, chase Smith might be the best of that group! And with Manny gone… we can finally do away with that striker ****. Playing basically 2 LBs with weak DEs was killing Miami defensively.

Every program has their own version of striker. They just have different names.
