Watts is south of downtown LA. USC is to the west. I don’t know the name of the neighborhood but I was just there last month. It’s not the worst place but it’s pretty crappy

It borders South Central LA. Not as bad as the reputation would have us believe, but not great either.

Has to be some ground work for future players as well. Not saying Wes isn’t worth the trip but he just committed and is clearly all Cane. Central produces so many players that it’s likely a chance to connect with Wes and connect with coaches about who is the next guy from Central.
