Reading This = Blow My Brains Out

This is the worst Miami recruiting class since we became a power.

You bring in 4 kids from the most fertile recruiting ground in the country. Oh, and that area can be covered by your head coach with one tank of gas.

Two Jersey gasbags despised by the local community, can't build relationships, come off as unlikable, can't point to any results on the field = recruiting nightmare.

This class is gonna create a huge shltshow for us on the roster.

Not surprised that the only "Down Vote" in this entire thread so far was by the AD b itchboy Thumbsdown. Hey Mods, can we can an IP check on this ****head?

My guess is it's dk72. Always downvoting around the same time.

This fool lost me at "Mario Cristobal."

Went from being a pretty good article to proving he has no clue all with two little words.

If Mario Cristobal ever becomes head coach at Miami.... I'm done.

EVERY recruit for 2016 is from Florida. ALL 13. 100% of them.

Lets not jump to conclusions. There is some weird **** that went on with this year's class but next year is all Florida so far.

You know what's funny, Kendall....every year, Golden has started in So. Fla, and then as time goes on, he cools on these kids, and focuses his attention back to the NE. before you know it, we're bleeding de-commitments. That's Golden. I no longer pay attention to his pre-recruit rankings. See me in October 2015 and let's see if we're still the No. 1 class in the nation.

He's a recruiting guy who was asked his opinion on a coaching candidate. Doesn't discredit the rest of what he said.

Anyone who thinks the next head coach at Miami should be a POSITION COACH, not from the NFL, but from ANOTHER D1 SCHOOL, is a ******* IDIOT

People who keep bringing up Cristobal's name for the Miami job need to be rounded up and shot. The man is not qualified to coach here.

Hmm let's look at his resume. His only experience is getting fired at FIU and being the offensive line coach at Alabama (a position he has just for recruiting).

People only mention him because he's a Miami guy. And I get that we want a guy who is familiar with South Florida and will play Miami football. But ****, I could list off a dozen "Miami guys" who are more qualified.

****, at this point, James Coley is more qualified than Mario Cristobal. That's not even bringing up BUTCH ******* DAVIS, Rob Chudzinski, Greg Schiano, Mark Trestman, all of whom are "Miami" guys.

Point is, there are so many better options out there. If the University of Miami ever hires Mario Cristobal, it will be for one reason and one reason only: HE IS CHEAP.

That will send the instant message that this University has learned nothing from its past hiring mistakes, that it will continue to hire the cheapest coach willing to do the job, that it's not interested in winning, etc etc. Mario Cristobal is the Cuban Al Golden. FIU is pretty much Temple. Hiring him would be totally and utterly unacceptable.

Any time his name is brought up, this needs to be said.

No one is arguing any of this. Just disagreeing when you say Bartow has no idea what the **** he is talking about as far as RECRUITING goes. Chill the **** out.

Well no **** we suck at recruiting.... did you really need an article or this guy Bartow to tell you that? We missed on pretty much all of our top targets. We're ranked in the 30's on most major ranking sites. We have 7 four-stars committed and no five-stars, while FSU has something like 16 committed. We have like 2 kids from Dade county committed, and if we close on more, they are going to be last-second additions ie kids nobody really wanted anyway including this staff.

You want to know how bad our recruiting sucks? Our class will finish worse than Virginia Tech's and North Carolina's.... the first time that's happened in many years. So now we can't even say we're the most talented team in the coastal anymore. AND, we still have the same crap-*** X's and O's staff we had last year to put that inferior talent to work. #trendingupman

Yeah our recruiting pretty much sucks balls. Tell me something I don't know.

You're the man Stew!

This also goes to show how short sighted and ignorant the athletic department, Golden, the admin and board of trustees all are. They think the fan base is ****ed off because the team went 6-7.

What they can't comprehend is that we all see the philosophical and systemic issues of a head coach who is incapable of change. Not just because he doesn't want to or thinks he needs to, but because he is doing the only thing he knows to do. The record was just a symptom of the disease. The disease of a head coach who runs a system that doesn't fit the recruiting base. That plays a style of football that goes against every natural and learned ability of that base. That refuses to even bother making any adjustments, in any single thing he does.

If you're going to come in and go against everything that is SoFla football, ignore local studs and not even give a **** about doing it, you had better be in contention for the NC every single year. If not, you deserve every single ounce of criticism and insult thrown your way. You don't spit in the face of the locals unless you can back it up. **** this fat **** in his pizza eating **** sucking mouth.

It would only take a competent new head coach 2 recruiting classes to put together a team that can compete against anyone. So **** this class, I hope it ******* implodes and Golden is left with NoD's **** in his hands. A real head coach would have no problem turning this thing around in no more than 3 years, no matter how ****** of a roster he is left with.

Really, going to blow your brains out after reading an article written by Manny and some no nothing "expert" recruiting clown? Everybody has two things, one is an opinion and the other is, well you know. This class is better than you think and I am not a Golden fan, but I like the OL class a lot. I will see what happens tomorrow before I pass judgement, but one thing is certain, these south Florida high school kids are the worst at playing the game and decommitments are becoming more and more common at all schools.

You couldn't sound any gayer right now. Blaming the kids? The fvck?

The amount of whiffs in our own backyard makes this class a complete failure. It's a D+.
