Reading This = Blow My Brains Out

Well Folden can't even build a Virginia here at Miami. Remind me what his record is against Va? 0-4 or 1-3? That guy even sucks at trying to be a ****** program.

Q: So is Miami’s class still decent in your eyes?
Bartow: “In terms of what they want to do in terms of building it into a Virginia, Al Groh type of program you have guys that can fit into their read and react scheme and power game, a lot of developmental guys. But it is disappointing in terms of geography. I mean, why are you going to take the Miami job if you’re not going to over recruit these awesome counties of Broward and Dade? It’s kind of defeating the purpose of the job and the location.”

I became physically ill reading this part.

Yeah, but I think his point was that Mario would at least know the value of keeping top talent home, then build your schemes around that talent. ANYONE that does that will win here. Anyone that doesn't will not. We know Golden won't.
As was mentioned, Bartow was spot on until he started singing the praises of Fat Luigi from Alabamee. Couldn't be more wrong about that.

The BOT, Shalala, James, Golden love being abused.

The easy conclusion is that they take pleasure in being bent over!

Bartow is excellent. The only part that was questionable was his suggestion of Cristobal as a possible replacement, which I and most others wouldn't be on board with for obvious reasons.

The rest of his analysis is spot on.

But I thought the fans negativity was why they can't get SoFla kids.... **** all you ******** that still defend this guy and all of you who think the fans should just be quiet. I hope every kid decommits and folden loses every game next year. This thing needs to implode, because as long as he is coach, this program is ****ed. It needs to all go to **** so this admin finally ******* wakes up and does what should have already been done. Bring the noise.

This is the worst Miami recruiting class since we became a power.

You bring in 4 kids from the most fertile recruiting ground in the country. Oh, and that area can be covered by your head coach with one tank of gas.

Two Jersey gasbags despised by the local community, can't build relationships, come off as unlikable, can't point to any results on the field = recruiting nightmare.

This class is gonna create a huge shltshow for us on the roster.

Al is doing a Coker by ignoring SFL talent for high-character, out-of-state guys that the admin would approve...

If you're not from New Jersey or Pittsburgh, this staff could care less it seems. SMH.

Yep, even if this ******* is fired at the end of the season, it will take years to recover from the talent deficiency. I've been in denial, Miami truly is done, the ride is over, **** was fun for a long time. Sorry for you guys who jumped on in the 2000s. At least I'm old enough to have enjoyed this ride from the beginning.

Didn't Al tell us on 12/13/2010 that the reason why he took this job was b/c of the resources it provided him for recruiting?? Look back to everything Al said in presser back then and see how everything he stated was a bold face lie....

Or he'd come in here and spout a different form of Golden's car salesman shtick but just tinged with more Miami "flavor", prove to be an inept head corch and the talent would still leave. If you look at his resume at FIU in its entirety it's equal or less impressive than what Alfredo managed to do at Temple. Either hire a proven commodity this time or just shut the thing down. We don't need no average positions corch from the mighty Esss-eeee-seeeeee to save us. Spare me the BS too that he'd never leave if by miracle he happened to have success. The guy is willingly living in Tuscaloosa right now for what (no matter the misinformation that is continuously still spread about it) wasn't a massive pay raise.

I know people are upset but this is ridiculous. Miami is not dead and with the right coach it won't take years to recover from a talent deficiency. For all the mistakes Folden has made in recruiting, this is still a talented roster. Miami, by recruiting ranking average classes, was more talented than every team it played in 2014 but for FSU (and had enough talent to take FSU to the wire).

While the 2015 class is below average by Miami standards, there are still many very good players that a real coach would know how to use properly. Looking at the 2015 class combined with the current roster shows a team that is talented enough to win 10 games with a good coach.

Do not despair, Miami will be back, it is only a matter of time. Miami will always be one coach away from greatness...
