It’s rbs not qb or o-line. Like I said in another post I’m not saying hire portis but I’m sure that guy knows what it takes to play rb. Jason Taylor had only coached hs before he came here. Damione Lewis had no experince and his first job was d-line coach in the nfl

It’s not an exception to the rule. Jason Taylor only experience was coaching hs before he came here. Mike vrabel retired from the nfl and got the d-line coach job at osu immediately. Jim Leonard no coaching experience before he got the dc job at Wisconsin. He retired in 2014 and got the job in 2016. There are other guys too. Experince is great to have but It’s not required to be successful

If it were up to them it would always be a former player. My thing is most of the time that’s not good. Unless they have a drive to lead and work hard. And working hard playing football and working hard coaching football are two completely different things. Kissing a recruits *** and that recruit actually liking you as a person is huge. Just because you played good doesn’t mean they will like you. It always reminds me of that video with Irvin, where he’s teaching and the recruit under his breath says “bruh we heard you already” Every kid is not going to like you. Especially with egos of former players and ego’s of recruits involved. Most of the time that’s **** clashes


Let Mario do his interviews behind the scenes. If he thinks someone has the same vision will work tirelessly and has the same values, that’s the man he will hire.

Really hope whoever takes the RB or TE coach spot has some strong ties to Texas/Louisiana. We seem to be trying to dig into the area but feel it would be great to have someone with big familiarity to the area and maybe a known name in the coaching world there

our ****** recruiting czar midget dictator is from there and hasnt gotten us in...

I listed Elijah Brooks CAUSE I want IN on the DMV area.

If it were up to me personally though i would shoot high and get someone with play call ability as i believe Dawson needs another voice over there for when his sh*t has been bogged down at times.
 
Lol look at the garbage ferman is pushing, seems like his agent paid ferman to put this out. The **** this guy ever done that would say he deserves to take over the bet RB room in D1
