Yea we listened to the players when they said hire Coker. Let the professionals at coaching hire the next RB Coach whoever it is.
They just play them on messages boardsI was under the impression that the poRsters on here ARE the professionals.
Yeah, you know... just throw a bag at him...You want the best Oline coach in all of football to not only come back to college but to also downgrade rooms and coach our running backs?
Guess that’s a good thing that he’s not back in the news. Hopefully he rehabbed himself and got the help he neededNo he's out. But that'll make passing a university background check tough.
I'm not playing bro. They just play them on messages boards
I didn't mean you, obviously you aren't a ****sta, the others areI'm not playing bro.
Mr. ****sta to you!I didn't mean you, obviously you aren't a ****sta, the others are
get on the Mo Toure plan and you can be Dr. ****sta!!!!Mr. ****sta to you!
My jokes are like farts....most of them stink.
It’s rbs not qb or o-line. Like I said in another post I’m not saying hire portis but I’m sure that guy knows what it takes to play rb. Jason Taylor had only coached hs before he came here. Damione Lewis had no experince and his first job was d-line coach in the nflDelaware state under Deshaun Jackson. They did win 7 more games than the prior year, last year, but I’m not handing over the best running back room in the country without real experience at the P4 level
It’s not an exception to the rule. Jason Taylor only experience was coaching hs before he came here. Mike vrabel retired from the nfl and got the d-line coach job at osu immediately. Jim Leonard no coaching experience before he got the dc job at Wisconsin. He retired in 2014 and got the job in 2016. There are other guys too. Experince is great to have but It’s not required to be successfulNote how you pointed to two exceptions to the rule, like that means anything. There's a reason why GT had to go that route, they aren't spending money like that, and Auburn is(and has been) poorly run for a very long time. Miami can afford better and Mario, for all his flaws is a competent program manager that demands excellence from his staff. RB Coach is a recruiting position, do you think Clinton Portis, someone who is famous for enjoying the nightlife would be happy spending most of his waking hours watching film or pressing the flesh at high schools?
If it were up to them it would always be a former player. My thing is most of the time that’s not good. Unless they have a drive to lead and work hard. And working hard playing football and working hard coaching football are two completely different things. Kissing a recruits *** and that recruit actually liking you as a person is huge. Just because you played good doesn’t mean they will like you. It always reminds me of that video with Irvin, where he’s teaching and the recruit under his breath says “bruh we heard you already” Every kid is not going to like you. Especially with egos of former players and ego’s of recruits involved. Most of the time that’s **** clashesI was under the impression that the poRsters on here ARE the professionals.

our ****** recruiting czar midget dictator is from there and hasnt gotten us in...Really hope whoever takes the RB or TE coach spot has some strong ties to Texas/Louisiana. We seem to be trying to dig into the area but feel it would be great to have someone with big familiarity to the area and maybe a known name in the coaching world there
