Ranking Miami QB's over the last Decade

Why can Brock Berlin improve from the inaccurate interception machine he was as a junior but Rosier can’t under better coaching?

Exactly. It was also Rosier's first year as a starting QB. Rosier exceeded my expectations, whereas Brad continuously fell short of them. I'm hopeful for Rosier to take that next step as a passer.

You’ll never get a direct answer to a simple question. He’s just going to change the subject or ask you a question. That’s why I quit responding

FOH.

Football ain't changed so much since 2001 that 8 TDs and 1000 yards is no longer significant. You must be the dumbest person alive if you think anybody believes that.

Had we not lost to Pitt and made it to the playoffs, Malik Rosier would be being heralded as one of the all time greats at Miami.

He's not and Dorsey is because he lost and Dorsey won. Winning matters. It's the only thing that matters.

Umm the game has certainly changed. That is why we are't sure if Richt can be a good play caller in today's game.

This Charlie Ward Hiesman season we keep talking about those statistics would probably be good for just first team conference.

Because Berlin wasn't an inaccurate interception machine. He just had that one season in 2003. He was the USA Today Player of the Year in high school. In 12 games at Florida, he was 60% with 12 TDs, 4 INTs.

Rosier is the 2017 player you saw.

What are you smoking?

Oh, and Kaaya actually spent several weeks on the Panthers active roster.

Rosier is the kind of guy who may not even get a camp invite.

Kaaya the messiah, the NFL prototype of all QBs, spent several weeks on the Panthers active roster then they realized why he never could win the coastal with the most talent around him in the Coastal.

Where is he now?

80% of this board had him pegged as a 1st round lock.. im sure you were one of them??

It’s easy to be 60% when you throw 80 passes. (All he threw at Florida) At Miami he three 350 passes both years. His completion rate actually went down his senior year (56%) so it wasn’t just one year. He just completed more touchdowns and less interceptions. Either way him and Rosier became a starter in their junior year. Rosier had a better junior year and you’re saying he can’t improve like Berlin.

So you claimed that Rosier has a better chance of making an NFL roster than Kaaya, even though he's already made one.

lol Rosier has more of a shot to actually make an NFL roster than Kaaya every did

This prompts you to post another unintelligible screed (probably full of lies).

He threw 106 passes but the number you're citing is excluding bowl games.

My point still stands.

Berlin was always a high percentage, high touchdown player. In high school, at Florida, in his second year at Miami.

Rosier is a 5th year Senior with no track record of efficiency in his life.

And his adjusted yards per attempt went from 5.4 to 8.2 which means he was throwing downfield more (and making big plays).

It would be more tolerable if Rosier was 54% but hit a lot of big plays.

But he doesn't.

His adjusted yards per attempt was only 7.3 which is pretty bad.

He's bad by pretty much every sane metric.

So Rosier as a junior was 54% on 7.3 while Berlin as a senior threw 56% on 8.2. Doesn’t sound like such a big jump is needed

Again, 2004 football being compared to 2018 football.

The median completion percentage in 2004 was 56% so Berlin was right on the line. The median completion percentage in 2017 was 59% which means that Rosier is way below average (54%).

Basically Rosier would have to be 60% to be average in 2018.

The median adjusted yards per attempt in 2004 was 6.8 so Berlin (8.2) was way above average (he was in the top 20 in the country). The median adjusted yards per attempt in 2017 was 7.5 which makes Rosier, again, below average (7.3).

I think once.

2015 Nebraska.

You're point is still as silly and irrelevant as the first time you asked it.
Dude. We went into the 4th up 30 to 10. Kaaya completely disappeared in the 4th, and didn’t even attempt a pass in overtime. We handed the ball to Joe Yearby 3 times and kicked a FG.

Hey but he did throw an interception in the end zone to get Nebraska going in the 4th quarter.
