Raising Canes: Another Level of Duke Johnson

Duke Sr. Passed a couple of years ago, he was very ill and Duke Jr. promised his dad he would take care of his mother. What a inspirational kid to watch grow from pop warner until now. I'm so proud of The Johnson Family and what they did to make sure their family did their best, at whatever it may be.
 
As far as sheer talent goes, he's the best RB ever to wear a Canes jersey. If he stays healthy, he'll finish in the top 5 for the Heisman.

Sad how our own fans bash this kid. Truly.

He's not the Second Coming as some proclaimed but he is a god**** gifted football player and a **** fine young man. Zero trouble, all production.

yeah i want to know who is bashing Duke... i haven't read any here or heard anyone say anything bad about him except when he went through a fumble phase but that wasn't anything huge

Rollin is the only one from the wEz that I've read do that. I always just assumed he was being Rollin when he said that.

Rollin took up his stance from the beginning and has to alter his style a bit to take on all comers. I get what he does.

I think people were a little critical with Duke diving at knees. Then the Duke hates Miami commentary popped up.

Others may have said he needs to prove some things before he goes after this season - which I think falls in line with - if he stays healthy, he will and if he does, he's gone.

Beside the injury he's been everything. I could've asked for, one of my all time favorite canes!
