First of all, you have to make the full transition of getting the personnel used for the triple option out of their and replacing them with the personnel needed for offense in the 21st century. They should be fully there at this point since it's been 3 years since Johnson's last year.
Focus in on recruiting to get as many quality players in the Georgia area as possible and eat into Georgia's advantage there. Have funding in place to support the program and get the right coach.
Actually, GT's situation is not all that different from Miami's. Both are schools in big cities in states known as recruiting hotbeds. They have won national titles within the past 30 years and have been slightly above average since then (7, 8, 9 win seasons) for the most part.
I went and visited my buddy at usc upstate when I was in college. Only place I’ve seen a cross eyed stripper and pretty sure another one was pregnant. Think the place was called nakitas.
Most people don’t realize how tough the academic standard really are there. Plus UGA owns that state.
1990 Miami would have beaten 1990 co-NC GT by 21+
1990 GT played almost no one. Best win was a Citrus Bowl rout of #19 Nebraska. The Wreck also tied 13-13 with UNC (unranked) and managed to hold off VT (unranked) 6-3. They did beat UGA, who finished 4-7. Highest drafted player was LB in the 7th round.yeah. The 1990 season was the closest season we’ve had to the 84 BYU season.
They only care about academics. Which the school is great in that regard. But athletics not so much. It’s crazy that people think a small nerd school with absolutely no support and insane academic standards, should be good because they won NC back when Syracuse was a better program than most of the SEC.
No doubt, BJ is our very own Fletch. If he brings along Mrs Stanwych, then I am in.Barry Jacksoff goes undercover at a Miami-area executive airport to investigate UM's hirings and firings:
"Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State."

Prepare for Manny to be back fellas. The disinformation campaign of puffing our chests was just that.

What did it say?You ain’t read Josh Newberg post?
What are you talking about? You're a hella annoying poster for realsThat’s not the argument. Has Rad said he’s retiring? No. So why are we discussing a successor plan of any kind?
It’s on the recruiting board under the Artiside threadWhat did it say?
